@andytucker5315 There's been a fan project to make a modern remake running for about 15 years now. Try Google Star Trek Supremacy. I was involved in the project for the first 10 years, but had to leave the team for personal reasons. It's still going strong though.

***spoilers*** most of the not-empire races favour the federation. especially vulcan and betazed. those join nearly always depending on how close they are to Sol in the random map generator. Vulcan normally wins the game all by itself ...

Why is vulcan so strong?

@@NoxmilesDe Minor factions get level ups. Vulcan gets it around round 70. 8 or 9 Vulcan ships, and usually Industry level 5 or higher. So make sure they join you after this upgrade. When Mintaka gets the upgrade they only have level 3 industry maximum, and no spaceships, but every member helps to win the game. You can always build research and espionage facility.

I know there was an issue with rights, and they could only use TNG and DS9 assets, but this game really needed the Excelsior and Constitution classes in it.

I think Hasbro Interactive only had TNG License, so we got Ambassador class for first Federation ship. You know the episode where Tasha is resurrected, and you never see the ship again. Terrok Nor is also in TNG, and Defiant is in First Contact.

Fun fact: there's a bug that Sol won't ever rebel, so you can go full Terran Empire if you have the fleet to nuke everything if you can afford to lose all of your colonies as the Feddies. Was used as a dirty tactic in online games sometimes.

You forgot to build private farms and Federation- Senate wich raises moral +2 every round Also build Bajoran Jalanda forum, and Edo Palace for extra +2 moral in every system. If that doesn't solve your moral problems ... play one of the other empires, where the population doesn't have issues when you bombard planets.

The developers of Star Trek Online should have added music from BOTF, Starship Creater (crap game but okay music) and Bridge Commander. Infact any game you guys think is good but the first 3 I definatlly think have good treky music
