I think this theme captures the essence of the Romulans the best out of all songs that were written for them in other games.

Played this game as a kid and called this song "Anthem of the Romulan baseball team" because it sounded to me like "Take me Out to the Ballgame" in Minor key. Especially 1:10 to about 1:30 or so. "Taaake mmee-eee out....to the balllll-game!" I imagined them having dull grey metal batting helmets and the bases in their diamond glowing that sickly green color Romulans can't seem to get enough whether it's background lighting or disruptor fire. Still stuck in my head over a decade later!

cloaking was a bit overpowered in the game. the D'Dridren destroyer makes use of this advantage also all the other cloaked ships.

​@@nagash303 it's true - it makes playing as the Romulan's a not very satisfying experience. I find the Klingons difficult but rather satisfying (if you start off with early tech, the Heavy Cruiser is overpowered with it's cloak).

Playing the Romulans was always great fun for me, especially when I conquered the Sol-System :P Is there any Patch that enables BotF on XP?

in xp the compability mode for win 2000 works. but you have to seperate this pc from the internet or some unofficial microsoft virus will deactivate it. because microsoft sucks. The game uses old Format avi.
