@@BenKii Nah, there's an in-game tutorial voiced by Kate Mulgrew (Janeway) herself for some Klingon words but it's mostly solving a mystery. But it's interesting viewing things from a young warrior's point of view onboard a Bird of Prey. You can do some pretty funny things too, such as accusing Gowron himself and other silly stuff, and some touching moments at times (surprising for a Klingon game). But no need to know Klingon at all... If you've seen the TV series "Shogun" (or "Samurai" as it was known in Japan) with Chamberlain, it works a similar way. Many ppl speak only Klingon, but all the important stuff is spoken in English or translated as necessary... Fitting as you play as a Klingon yourself. I heard it's next to impossible to get a hold of as well, and even harder to make it run on modern systems. But if you find, it, try it.

The only ones missing are the "Orion Rendezvous" planetarium slideshow (featuring the voices of LeVar Burton, Majel Roddenberry, and Jonathan Frakes), Data's instructional videos from the _Federation Science_ exhibit (starring Brent Spiner), the complete half-hour of _"Star Trek_ Live," and the unreleased "Borg Q-Uest" VHS game starring John de Lancie as Q a couple years before _Borg._

Installed this game on an old Mac in the late 90s. I couldn't run it, but it assimilated my computer. Many documents that had previously listed as "file" were now listed as "borg file".

The one thing I'll note to this is that there was an audiobook version of the game story which added voiced dialogue to Cadet Furlong - it actually makes more sense of the story (even if your versions of his responses are more fun). I kinda wish they'd integrated the voiceover as an optional track in the game

This just further illustrates why they need to just go ahead and remaster DS9 and Voyager properly (Hell you could even give Enterprise a fresh coat while at it). But with as little actual effort as is needed with AI now, its practically a no cost production and given most things are digitally distributed nowadays, you wouldnt even have to pay that much for distribution and you could let the digital sales help fund a physical collectors edition. I know I have spent more in the last 2+ years on trek than I have in the preceding 60. The markets are out there. You just have to sell products customers ACTUALLY want. So ultimately even if there isnt massive sales for it (DS9 absolutely would be big) the insanely low cost ratio for such a project would undoubtedly make it a profitable enterprise (pardon the metapunning) But honestly its good to strike while the iron is hot. Especially off the recent string of successes trek has finally started to rack up again.

3:16 you not gonna believe this.... just the other day I was watching a review of Voyager, and *THIS GUY* shows up as a Bajoran in an episode. I was like "Where do I know that guy from? Surely appeared as a human somewhere..." couldn't put my finger on it, but didn't go looking for it or dug anything up from the Voyager database online, anywhere.... all the thinking, I did to myself "Why do I know that guy?!" now, three or four days later, I see this video in my feed, *_curiously_* containing THAT FACE as related content. coincidence!? _dramatic lean in_ I THINK NOT!

It's that mysterious algorithm at it again. It knows things. :D But seriously, Star Trek has had a history of actors playing many roles. Tuvok for instance played a human on the Enterprise-B on the Star Trek Generations movie and another separate character on DS9 before eventually playing Tuvok on Voyager. And of course many many other examples but way too many to list here.

I just remembered where I think I saw that guy, in TNG he was the father of a kid on the Enterprise. I distinctly remember him picking up a toy and telling his kid something like "Tidy up! I have to get to work!", and later on that kid shows up in engineering and gets him in trouble. I'm sure _this_ will get me the clip in question, as a recommended video.

Wow. I actually have this game still, not been able to play it for years mostly because of the terrible video quality. It looked just about ok on an old CRT, but the fake scan line effect looks awful on a modern screen. That upscaling is incredible.

@@BenKii If you dont even know what 2K and so on is, why use those terms? a 4:3 image, 1920x1440/1440p is obviously less than 2K. 1440p in 16:9 is exactly 2.5k, 2560x1440.
