Watching the children break down at the end is just so heart-wrenching... they now realized what they'd been lured into and what they had lost as a result.

His name, Belli, is actually pronounced Belly... like the 'i' sound in spaghetti. He changed the pronunciation to sound less ethnic ( Italian). The family was not happy with him for it. I was married to his 2nd cousin in the late 70s early 80s. Her dad, my father in law, was also a lawyer like he was. He seemed like a nice enough guy in person, but I only met him at the wedding.

He "defended" Jack Ruby for killing Lee Harvey Oswald. He sent Ruby up the river without a paddle which was probably the mob's plan all along but not what Ruby understood. Ruby probably thought he was going to get a light sentence as the hero being the killer of the killer of JFK, but the mob needed to shut him up so to the electric chair he should go, but cancer got him first.

I didn't hate this episode. I find it damn creepy. I think the biggest problem with 1 hour television is that there is not enough time to tell the story as the writer envisioned it. If this had been an hour and a half they could have done more with Gorgon, to explain his control of the children, some history to his character and he would have been a much better villain. I would have loved to see him on TNG and let Picard have a go at him.

You can have a go at him yourself. This episode is analogous to what is happening in our world today. The globalist, and their minions in the media and big pharma, are essentially the children in the star trek episode, pumping out illusions and lies to frighten people into doing horrible things to other humans, or into just doing nothing at all. I doubt we will be able to appeal to the humanity of Fauci, Bill Gates, Nancy Pelosi, Klaus Schwab, and the other globalists, to break the hold the Gorgon has on them, but at least we can wake up those who have fallen under the spell by revealing the lies, illusions and exaggerations. The climate crisis is a total illusion. COVID19 is an easily overcome bioweapon (Vitamin D, Ivermectin and so on), turned into a global crisis with lies, fear and illusions. The jabs are a complete lie. Most of the worlds problems are lies are exaggerations of minor problems. The Gorgon was defeated by Kirk and Spock overcoming their own fear, seeing reality and then revealing the truth to others. You can do that now, or you can be like Sulu, staring down a tunnel of swords that isn't really there.

That little girl's name is Pamelyn Ferdin and she was an outstanding young actress perhaps best known as the voice of Lucy Van Pelt in the Peanuts animated films of the late 60's the voice of Fern in Charlotte's Web (1972) and she was an early crush of mine as well. She started very young, in 1964 and the last time I saw her credited on-screen was 2009. She was very much in demand in the latter half of the 60's and all thru the 70's. I believe she became a registered nurse and I hope she is doing well. Everything I remember about her says she was a good human being. She nailed that performance with Bill Shatner.

Not real fond of this episode, however, here are a few trivial facts. The oldest kid there, Tommy, was Kirk's nephew in the first season episode, Operation: Annihilate!, The young girl there became a nurse, and the Asian child there was in one of the Nerd movies. I believe the oldest boy there who was Kirk's nephew, also composed music for one of thd Star Trek movies.

You should be terrified, because we are living through it right now. Think of how much you have been made to fear in the last two years. Trump was the new 'Hitler' bent on destroying the world. COVID19 will kill us all unless we cover our faces, destroy our livelihoods, inject poisons into our arms and stay away from everyone. Cops are hunting down innocent black men and killing them for sport. The planet is doomed unless you give up the freedom and wealth that fossil fuels have made possible! The fear-porn out there would make a Gorgon jealous, and like the Gorgon, it is all generated with lies and illusions.

@@beyourself2444 Spock's Brain is bad in a hilarious way. I find it enjoyable because it's ridiculous and campy. Bones is dead serious, Kirk is meandering around, Scotty is on drugs, and Spock just doesn't care. Some of the other infamously bad episodes are boring and drag on forever, that's the key difference to me.

I saw this episode when I was 5 back in the 60s and I have been in love with the little blonde girl ever since. first off--Pamelyn Ferdin, who I just discovered who she really is recently, should have won an emmy for best actress in her crying scene w/ the Cpt. AMAZING child acting. Just unparalleled until Dakota Fanning. I HATE kids on tv and in the movies due to the HORRIBLE acting one is always assured. So I always appriciate good child acting. Lately Ive been watching MeTV for fun and "The Rifleman" and Mark, played by Johnny Crawford is also a KILLER child actor. Anyways...I just saw this episode recently and I fell in love with her all over again. Not in any sort of sexual or weird way...just admire her as an ADORABLE child...but, something..."stronger" I also recently saw her on Bonanza and again I was just IN LOVE with her?? Weird, right?? But it's nothing more than like a grandpa (Im 60 and a grandfather) just LOVING a child. I have always loved children. CHildren and animals. I love their innocence and how they can sense good in a person. But, now I realize what draws me so into Pamelyn. We're just about the same age and even when I was 5, 6, 78..Ive always loved girls. Always had a girlfriend, it seems and she was the "it girl" of boys my age. She was in EVERY dang toy commercial and on EVERY tv show there was. At least the big shows. Ive learned she was probably the most sought after and working child actor in history...at least she was the forerunner. Yes, there was Shirley Temple, but she came up when there wasnt the media saturation of the mid to late 60s where Pam excelled. Could she be ANY more cute and adorable than in the scene with the captain. She's the daughter Ive ALWAYS wanted ( got two boys, who have two boys, :/ lol) She just steals my heart so completely. I just became a friend to her FB fan page that she runs. Im hoping to get a thumbs up or a positive comment from her. Then I will enjoy thinking how if someone told me back in 1968 that some day FIFTY years from now, we will be using all the technology you see on this show and you will be talking to that little girl using a computer...well. Isnt that so cool and something no little boy in the 1960s could ever believe could come true ?? How she wasnt even NOMINATED for an Emmy just shows how the academy and SAG have always looked down their nose at SciFi. Think Steven Spielberg not EVER winning an acadamy award until he did a movie without special effects of revolved around science fiction. (Im going to google who won best guest supporting actors whatever for this year and compare their performance to Pamelyns here)
