I like to think that Kirk and his crew's constant dealings with such almighty beings or beings of a similar nature or with similar types of power (like Trelane, Gary Mitchell, Charlie Evans, etc...) would have made them less fun for Q to annoy, since they'd have enough experience to not be fazed by Q's shenanigans much, if at all.

@@AnubisXII This was around 1999. I asked him what he wanted Spock’s ultimate fate to be. This of course was before the movie reboot, so everything was up into the air as to the fate of the original crew. He first said “That’s a very good question. Anyone else have another question?” I was so gob smacked that I was able to speak to him that I really didn’t hear the answer, but I got the impression that since Spock had been resurrected once, but he wasn’t exactly sure what the ultimate outcome of his character would be. I’d like to think after his passing that he would have approved of the quiet and dignified way they dealt with the character’s death. His katra was probably enshrined on New Vulcan to be a source of inspiration for many Vulcan generations to come.

I got these audio books from itunes and love to listen to them while traveling. They convey so well that you can practically see their faces and imagine the expressions. Two of my favorite characters meeting. always cool. I wish they had a DVD with the entire reading on it. Even better I wish I had known when this happened so I could have been there.
