I am so glad I found your channel. I used to breakdance when I was in middle school, so it’s awesome that you are combining calisthenic training with break dancing. It definitely broadens calisthenics to a different level of fun.

breakdancing itself wont be enough. alot bboys out there combining their routines with other sports especially aerobics, calisthenics and martial arts. it helps our mobility, strength and endurance.

Neat tutorial, thank you. Looking back years ago when I was uselessly trying to learn this in a very bad form, I wish I was told about learning the star walk, and also being told about importance of alignment, core... it is such an amazing skill, even for just few rotations if done in a good steady form. I remember seeing BBoy Rudolph from Pockemon doing most amazing 90s ever - ~8rotations, starting fast, spreading legs wider and significantly slowing down, and then bringing the legs back together and speeding up again. Desperately trying to do moves this difficult without having proper basics and decent physical form was perhaps my biggest mistake when I was doing breakdance.

been tryinf 90's for years, rarely i get a fill or 1.5 spin. I thin kthe star walk is invaluable for the balance. also making sure to nail the running man, especially if your shoulders are not flexible.

I've tried for a year now to do these ...and im getting no where as close as id like... Im taking a month off...my hands hurt and im always tired. I've gotten close... But doing this on grass and smooth concrete is a little harder. Try a frozen pond...and tell me how good you are. Its all about location... Im not an indoors person. My canvas is outside. Plus... Where I live. We're not allowed to congregate inside buildings. I try this on surfaces that are natural ...odd...or snowy. It's not easy...but it sure is fun. Till you start feeling it. My sun levels are too low... I'll have to wait till I can boost my sun exposure. Keeps the bone pain down.

@@BboyManchester once again, please explain what in particular does not make sense. Transition to the second hand and spin ✅ Smaller point of contact, less friction ✅ Wear a glove to reduce friction ✅
