Wow what an amazing tribute for Barris Offee. I don’t know if she survive Lyn Stabbing her with her lightsaber. If she didn’t, she will rest in peace. But if she did survive then I’m looking forward to seeing her again in future Star Wars stories. Possibly Ahsoka season two.

Great edit as usual SWFT! I personally thought that the Tales of the Empire shorts needed a little more time and episode six ended a little anti-climactic but that being said I did really like what we got. I think this edit and how I’ve seen other people react to the episode like the Reel Rejects guys for example, give me a better understanding on what it was that these stories were going for with Barriss. A certain other Star Wars KZbinr thought otherwise not shockingly. Regardless, keep posting these things man they are great!🙏🏻

Thank you for this awesome edit on showing this characters complexity. She is one of my favorite characters in all of Star Wars and am really glad that she is getting attention again. Hope to see her in Ahsoka season 2 or in other media where we get to learn more about her struggle to find her way out. Wish Tales of Empire was longer, I think her story deserves to have been fleshed out even more, but really good story beats are there and am honestly just really happy she did not just become another villain would not have fit her character, and she got the to live a long life where she did good. (I don't' think she is dead, but if she is I am at least happy with what we got.). Happy Star Wars Week everyone!

That’s the irony of it, her attack on the temple was because of how she viewed the Jedi as corrupt, while she became corrupt in the process aswell, glad to see she realized she was wrong, and became an actual Jedi in the process, a peacekeeper and a healer.

As one can fall from the Light and into Darkness, so too can they ascend from Darkness and back into the Light. I found the Barriss Trilogy to be excellent proof of how whilst disillusionment with the Jedi and the Republic wasn't unfounded, in the end they were far better than the Empire that murdered them and took their place.

Great job, once again! Barriss was one of the few who saw the inevitable in both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic: that They failed in the most important part of their respective madates, serving and protecting the People. Both became so consumed in preserving the status quo in the form of paralizing bureaucracy and endless political dibates whilst trying to hear everyone's opinion and trying to appease every political faction and interest.

A very changeable character, when he could not find himself in the light and misunderstood the workings of the order, he retreated into the darkness, but he realized that it was not himself, rejected the darkness and found the right path by going to the right path. right way. light again. If you think about it, Barriss betrayed the empire/inquisitorious for the same reason she betrayed the jedi. She betrayed the jedi because she believed they failed the people, and she betrayed the empire after seeing that they were failing the people even worse. Only she learned from the mistake she made the first time, so instead of choosing to hurt people she now saves people.

There's always so many tributes like this to so many other groups and characters but there's literally nothing for the stormtroopers. For the average trooper fighting for the empire. We desperately need an imperial focused series where they DON'T join the rebellion. There's very few of those stories.
