Of course that only applies to the individual. For government itself, the God Emperor made it clear that pharonic monarchies, vast aristocratic empires, etc, were the path to destruction. Humanity must spread and grow to survive, not be constricted by bureaucracy.

As always Thrawn was right, "The Empire is a magnificent construct." Far greater than it's predecessor and successor, it's only flaw is having fools like Tarkin or Krennic being in command of it's advancement. Which is why I'm whole heartedly certain that if Thrawn ruled the Empire from the very beginning, then there would have been no need for a Rebellion and the Galaxy would have truly been unified under the most brilliant mind it has ever produced. LOVE YOUR WORK ALWAYS!!!! Can't wait to see the next one. I hope it's centered on Palpatine's decades long Contingency plan (from Operation Cinder to the Final Order).

@@samalvey8168 that's why many people love Thrawn and why some, had he lived beyond Legends, could have created the "Galactic Federation" in Star Wars. A few years ago, Eckhart Ladder posted a video asking this question: had Thrawn survived and beaten the New Republic in Zahn's books. Thrawn hated that the racial elements inside the Empire fit against non-humans (the same groups that became part of the Separatist Alliance against the Republic during the Clone Wars). He could have gone much further than the Republic by centralizing the galaxy after the Paplatine's Empire. Despite their good intentions, the New Republic could not still centralize & unify many planets with differing statuses, beliefs, etc., after Episode 6. Look at how the inner colonies treated the outer colonies in many sci-fi stories like Halo, Star Trek, etc. Star Wars's geopolitical landscape is still similar to many of these works.

What do you mean? The one we got showed plenty of the Imperial perspective through Morgan and Barriss. Just like how Tales of the Jedi was about what it means to be a Jedi, seen through the lens of Dooku and Ahsoka.

@@tommyp440 okay true might be aggressive but like from the officers, thrawn, tarkin, etc. idk andor might have what I want but haven’t watched it yet. I think my major problem with tales of the empire is the characters they used, i didn’t really care about in the same way as tales of the Jedi (though maybe my opinion will change over time. It took me forever to watch the dokku episodes) I was just watching it to see barris die because she makes so mad. Long rant to say, give me a Dolores in HR story or something like andor

Thrawn said it best:" Many in the Empire will trade lives for profit. Over time this will create a weak and demoralized Military. The Empire will slowly crumble." And that's exactly what happened. Had Sidious listened to people like Dedra and Thrawn and scrapped Project: "Stardust" early on in His reign, spreading out the funding, the resources and the manpower by spending them on projects like the Twin Ion Engine multiple-role Starfighter or " Defender" , the Dark Trooper Program and devised a more flexible Naval Doctrine and Fleet, His Empire would have lasted far longer.
