After weeks of preparation our Battle of Hoth participation game for Salute 2015 is finally complete; ready to be packed up and shipped out to the event. If you're coming to the event on Saturday come and join in the fun. Grant Ennis, the mastermind behind the game, will be on hand to assist and you may even win a prize.

Someone needs to make this game into an app. I would gladly pay to play this game. I'd even support a kickstarter to get it funded as long as they produced a quality product that let us play the battle of Hoth with these rules on our tablets/phones wherever we go. There needs to be a good mobile star wars game and I think this make hit the spot. A lot of great board games have made it into mobile games. Thumb up this comment or reply to show your support and let's hope they see it and try to do it. =)

It's: Five-oh-First. Not: Five hundred and first. Although they aren't the original 501st. The battle of Hoth was over 20 years after order 66, and most of the growth accelerated clones, would have been dead by then.

The at-ats look like the Kenner ones.

***** Almost, a majority of the minis are from the WOTC Star Wars Miniatures line (including AT-ST's and snowspeeders), the falcon was homemade by them as far as I am aware, while the AT-AT's are most likely from the kenner line.

These are all by the discontinued Wizard of the Coast Star Wars miniature game. They had over 1000 different minis prepainted at 28mm. It was my favorite game but never took off in big communities...
