Also you're "brim" make sure you don't actually have brim on :p Or you are not over extruding for the first layer. Usually you will extrude more for the first but too much will get this "brim" or I think you may be referring to elephants foot.

hey dave the reason why you have that brim is not because it didn't stick properly to the table but because the plastic shrinks, be carefull because this problem gets worse with bigger parts

Hey Dave, you should check out James bruton on KZbin. He's 3D printed 3 of these bb8s of his own design which all function with a remote control.
