Well understand Disney never made them non-canon. Not canon to the new current canon yes but not entirely. Disney is only rebooting the franchise. Disney refers to the EU as the old canon, meaning original continuity. So Disney just made the EU a separate continuity. The labeled all EU books as Legends. And officially calls them the Legends canon. So there are two canons. The Star Wars Legends canon and New canon.

Staying true? None of hte SIth knew that Bane intended to betray them, and Kann is screaming it out loud! Bane had them kill themselves without realizing what they were doing. They thought he wanted to usurp them and lead them, bot destroy them.

With the right crew, the Bane trilogy would make such awesome movies that the entire franchise could not only be saved from the Disney rapists, but be made even better than ever before. With the right actor, Bane could be a character with the most street cred ever. I'm just concerned that neither Bane nor Zannah can be done justice on the screen. It's one of those nigh impossible things almost guaranteed to fail.

I remember reading the 3 darth bane books last 2 years ago and was thought they were epic. Honestly idk why they dont make something out of them. It literally tells you the history of the dark side and how the rule of two became .

I love those books, I would be more afraid of them slaughtering them, than doing them justice. At least this mock trailer does them justice and sticks with the story, other than I don't see Zannah, as crying, or an adult. By the time she was an adult, she killed without mercy, or emotion, she was completely Sith.

Zannah was poorly portrayed here. She was NEVER a whiny, pouting, girl. She was always strong. Plus, this trailer showed nothing about Bane's roots. His origin before he becomes a sith is important too. You cant fit all 3 books into one movie, it would have to be a 3 part series like the books. Plus, in this trailer, it was hard to tell who was who. Who was Khan/Quo'ordis/Ka'sim? Eh, it was alright for a fan-made trailer. I hope Disney will pick this up after they do their Episode 7 and supposedly 8 and 9.

The fact that the Thought Bomb was derived from the Nathema ritual makes it so much more horrifying. This was a ritual that originally stripped the _Force itself_ from an entire planet! Curious where Bane's curved hilt lightsaber went...Why he didn't use Force Lightning which was pretty much his favored tactic, how come the Brotherhood discussed going to war with him when in fact they worked together against the Jedi, which is how he taught Revan's Thought Bomb to the Brotherhood which killed almost all Life on the planet. How they knew he was going after Revan's Holocron when they had forsaken the old knowledge (Bane had to look it up himself). Also where is the scenes of him in the military. He was a Force Sensitive soldier first when they realized he was strong in the Force. (An example being his insane sniper shots) I like the trailer as a whole, but try to be a bit more in-tune with the books and you'd have a masterpiece. (I do like the actual quotes from the books though) Edit: It wasn't his Curved Lightsaber that was purple. Memory was foggy

You know if they did make a movie of the Darth Bane Trilogy’s it would be over come with completes by parents with cry’s of Children been killed, the nice cousin been turned into a made person to take blame. The daughter just cut down, the kind healer been cut to pieces, all the talk of not caring, and the most shocking scene of all when zannah kills those four people on that ship. I remember how I felt when I first listened to it on audio book. Yep can imagine all the out cry of it been too virulent. My mum would surety be.
