Great omnibus overview as always Omar. I plan on getting the Star Wars: Darth Vader by Charles Soule Omnibus when it comes out or sometime after. This is my favorite Star Wars: Darth Vader comic Marvel has done thus far and the artwork amazing in the book. Keep up the great work as always Omar !!!

I Read all of it on kindle membership all were available and this was a good story. I didn’t know there was an omnibus. This omnibus looks really nice from cover to spine and everything intertwined. Thanks for the show and tell. This story is for versatile collection types cant go wrong. This is going before my Darth Vader Castle omnibus by cavan Scott as an origin story. The creationists story of Vader does come later but it’s layered just right. They should reprint this omnibus.

I have a friend that has absolutely no interest in the movies and could not tell you a plot point from a specific episode if you asked, but has read both of these Vader runs and Doctor Aphra. So there definitely are some people out there just reading the comics.

I’d never read any Star Wars before reading Dr Aphra and I absolutely loved reading it, I’ve tried rewatching some of the films but I can’t seem to enjoy them. I think reading Star Wars is more my type of thing.

The only thing retconned is the Legacy line. This is all part of cannon.

The current run is set between Ep 5 and 6. I can see the confusion though with so many Vader titles since Marvel took over.

Glad everyone is excited by this one but man I sure didn’t like the first OHC and don’t bother with the second. I think it’s because I thought Gillen’s run was just so much more interesting. Soule’s Star Wars stuff just seems fake to me or something. Like fanfic compared to Aaron’s run which felt authentic somehow. But hey that’s just me
