STAR WARS: Empire at War is a 2006 real time strategy game developed by Petroglyth games. In many ways it's a cult classic since it was never extremely popular but it has a strong and dedicated fan base. This game has been requested tons of times; we never did it because it's not very cinematic but the demand has been strong enough to warrant a game movie.

Edmar Fecler The game was amazing considering that it was an RTS in the SW universe, however it didnt really have much when compared to TW Shogun 2. The Repression mechanic would have been great in this game, especially when playing as Empire or Rebels in planets loyal to the Empire.

I think they should make a star wars rts game for console gamers because you could copie halo wars 1,2 for a good base and then you have a star wars rts game on consoles and if they want you can make mods if they allow it

It's a bit late, but i say it anyway. Turbolasers very inaccurate against small targets, and going at enemy space station with shuttles at fronts, one of the best tactics.

If this game taught me anything, it’s that the empire could have destroyed the rebellion very very easily. With or without the Death Star. It just makes the OT not near as good and it’s kinda sad.

This game is very shallow. This doesn't really show how an insurgency operates. Maybe you should read up on the lore instead of basing everything on a single source? :)

MegaPrice98 Dude you realised that the rebels nearly lost everything in the OT? I mean, if Tarkin has killed Leia, then the rest of the rebels wouldn’t have gotten the plans because Han, Luke, and Chewie wouldn’t have been able to find the Yavin. TESB was one of the rebels worst defeats with losing their main base on Hoth, Solo getting captured as well as Leia and Chewie, and Luke finally losing a hand. If Vader and the Imperials were competent, that would’ve ended a good part of the rebellion, and finally in ROTJ, had the emperor just sent the fleet in to engage the rebel fleet while using the Death Star to pick off the capital ships... the rebels would’ve lost easily. The only reason why the rebels won in the OT was due to plot armor and silly shit the empire did.
