Star Wars fencing flash mob

School of Saberfighting is one of the first teams in the world that specialises in public performance of duels inspired by Star Wars, and also provides training for those who wish to learn this form of stage fencing.
Many of our trainees have won the highest stage fencing athletic titles in various Russian championships, and acted in fencing combat scenes in theatre and films. They also collaborated with a Combat Choreographer from Hollywood, and performed during the World Fencing Championship 2015.

Form V, Djem So (alternatively referred to as Shien) is by far the most aggressive of the seven forms. And that’s what Anakin was all about. Meanwhile, Form VI, Niman, minimized actual movement, waiting for their opponent to slip up and create an opening. Obi-Wan specialized in this. Form II, Makashi, was all about graceful, elaborate movements to throw the opponent off balance. So, in a way, I guess you’re both right. However, Blaze…I advise against being so aggressive.

Unfortunately, even if you're excellent at saber combat, un-choreographed duels look incredibly lame with a lot of moments where the blades don't connect or one or the other ends up making contact early in the duel.

I like how you have got epee fencers, then guys with sabres and sideswords, and then the star wars dudes show up. The anakin skywalker and young obiwan actually look like they were replicating some moves from the big fight at the end of the prequels. Awesome. But kids watching, remember, don't try spinning in a real fight you will get stabbed in the back... Although the in-universe explanation that excuses that in the films is, of course, the force! :) Awesome to see this thank you!

Новый мастер Кайло Рена лорд Сноук якобы существовал ещё во времена республики. И у Ситов, и у джедаев тогда с фехтованием было всё в порядке. Так что эта отмазка хуйня полная. И битвы в 7-8 эпизодах поставлены просто убого, даже в сравнении с 4-6 эпизодами.
