Cause I really want to get Qui Jon’s lightsaber when it comes out but I’m not going to buy a plane ticket, a hotel room, and ticket to the park just to then pay for a lightsaber and depending on how much he charges I’d like to hire him. A comparison with the Black series would be awesome! The button drives me nuts too. Sometimes they get it so perfect, like Mauls episode 1 saber, but most of the time you get that ridiculous light switch like the Star cruiser lightsaber 🙄

Sweet! However I am starting to realize that the Hasbro black series sabers seem to have a higher quality and look better. If only they didn’t have the stupid Allen wrench blade change but oh well. @@FindingTheForce Yeah. I think that’s one of the things that Disney has going for their blade designs is that patented push, twist and lock blade Swap out. That and for the price they are a pretty quality saber on most of them. Still lol think Hasbro black series has them on some of their designs though… If Hasbro lowered the price point By about $50 or so to be about $200 which person had a match to a legacy saber with blade then they would take em! ….

hmmm... I just checked on this for another viewer. The solid red light doesn't mean the battery is charged? You could also try a different cable with the same connector. Maybe the voltage is different?? 🤷🏼‍♂️

I stopped using rechargeable sabers in the parks, because when it does, you are done for the day/night. I prefer replaceable batteries so that if the battery does die while in the park, I can just replace it and keep going for the night.

Hello, good day, a question, what happens is that my Darth Sidious saber no longer turns on, and when I charge it, it pauses for several seconds and turns completely red, but when I connect the saber it does not turn on, and when I try to do this while it is charging I turn it on and it turns off by itself, what can i do??

Hey Darrell, no need to worry man. I believe I did mention it somewhere in the video. I don’t think you can remove the batteries, but it’s very easy to plug-in using a microSD cable.

Great video good buddy it's an awesome lightsaber fingerprint magnet surely but this has been a very welcome review nonetheless it's an awesome lightsaber and it's about dog on time that they finally got some rechargeable batteries of all these several years that they've been making since the park has been open but that saves the headache and burning your pocket so buying batteries it is odd about the activation switch but other than that it looks good it sounds good and one of these days can't wait to get around getting one thanks for all you do can't wait for the Qui-Gon and for the pro cooling May the force be with you always you and your family take care

@@FindingTheForce please please please make sure you take the batteries out of them if you haven't been using them over time even in good condition the batteries could possibly damage your connect your your connective parts and if they're damaged then your lightsabers will stop working I have heard stories about even under some of the best well-kept conditions inside that battery is left for too long especially the ones who do not recharge can damage your connective parts so please remove those but yes I'm very excited for everything going on because limited I live in Florida and because of a limited means some of these sabers I know I will not get a hold of but I'm praying one day that I will be able to get blessed with at least want one of these legacy lightsabers either plow Coon or Mason window but I'm looking forward to it you keep doing what you're doing you give hope to a lot of people and you and you can keep a good smile on my face because of your great attitude and great things to you and your son do so God bless you May the force be with you and you have a great one buddy

Bought mine last week at WDW and it doesn’t work! After charging it for a couple hours with the red light blinking, the red light was solid red. After unplugging the cable, it starts blinking red again. Inserting the blade makes the connection sound but blade doesn’t ignite. My home park is Dland so hoping to exchange it there when I go next week. Was excited for a rechargeable hilt but this is a BAD START!

Hey Sam, great question. It's all your Pref. bud. 36 is always my favorite, but the smaller the blade the less it squeaks and wiggles. ... nothing a tiny layer of packing tape can't fix. 👍🏻

That is very true, but the batteries are not rechargeable and you do need a pesky Allen wrench to remove the endcap. The blade is definitely enhanced though, Disney fans just like collecting Disney Merch. Thanks for watching men

Honestly quite concerned about the rechargeable ones. Who asked for them anyway? I never saw an issue with the AA/AAA packs as it meant you could remove the batteries for storage to prevent damage from leaks. Not sure about anyone else but I plan on keeping these sabers for many years, definitely long enough for the battery to need replacing. Can't find any info on how it comes apart. It looks to be glued behind where the charging port is so will probably be messy trying to get it apart and even then we don't know what we'll find in there.

Hey Tom, that's a good point. However one thing that is a big burden is having to change out the batteries in all of your electronic items that use batteries about every six months. This is to keep them from foaming over and breaking any sabers or other electronics. Rechargeable batteries give you that peace of mind. Interesting though that their most recent sabers they have released do not have a rechargeable battery.

I collect lightsabers too and I dress up as Luke Skywalker from return of the Jedi my favorite lightsaber hilt is the Luke Skywalker return of the Jedi v1 hero thin neck lightsaber hilt with the control box with black buttons and light up red and green arrows and copper thin neck lightsaber emitter with a green blade 36inches long so you obi dad kenobi and Landon sidious can call me Nick Skywalker Jedi Master in black Jedi robes and thin neck green bladed lightsaber hilt
