All the Star Wars quotes sprinkled throughout were just great! Ian’s processing of Bib Fortuna 😂 “Bib Fortuna…Bumblebee Tuna!…” This is indeed a fun game! Gordon was missed! This would have been the perfect game to bring back his Board Game Barrister Willhelm scream 😉 Great as always! 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks again, Jason! We should really just have Gordon's Wilhelm scream clip ready to toss into key moments of all of these playthroughs - especially the ones he's not actually in :D

Nice game! When you play the Rancor, you count out loud up to 6 and the 1st player that has a number lower to 6 is out? Not all the players
@BoardGameBarrister Жыл бұрын
Hello! That's correct - the Rancor knocks out the player (or players) who have the lowest card value. When Ian plays the Rancor at the 8:59, he starts counting up from 1, and as soon as someone has a matching number (the 4 in Andy's hand) then all players with that same low number are out. So if two players had a 4 in hand, they would both have been out. However, Ian then continues counting after knocking Andy out, which he shouldn't have done, because the Rancor's full effect had already been carried out.

The rules state that for a two player game you have to lay out three cards face up. Is this just to deduce what is not left in the deck? Otherwise there's no reason.

Hi Adrian - you're spot on! The Love Letter games have always been a very specific (sometimes heavily luck-reliant) experience for two players, and the rounds normally end very quickly. This is the designer's way of adding some additional information for a player whose first card is most useful later in the round when there's more information available.

What is up with audio?
@BoardGameBarrister Жыл бұрын
Hello! Unfortunately, I believe this was one of a few videos to fall victim to a minor audio glitch we encountered last year. Due to the way our audio was being converted, a select few output devices can't pickup the voice track in the final video. We've found this mostly to be the case with a few smart phone models and bluetooth devices. Most folks are able to hear the voice track by switching to another device or another speaker/headphones. We've since resolved the issue, but I'm sorry for the inconvenience on this video!
