Somehow I prefer this ending - I doubt I can kill in cold blood in RL, but this ending just fits better IMHO and frankly: Who doesn't want to command their own Star Destroyer? Regular Jedi-Life doesn't sound appealing at all, meditation (in order to suppress emotions that are natural - sure you shouldn't allow your darker ones to dominate you and take total control, but you should let anybody use you as a fucking carpet they can walk over and in war it is OK to hate your enemy IMHO!) and being sent out by the Grandmaster (during Luke's time as Grandmaster there wasn't a council at first!) like a good little erand boy to risk your life for a galaxy that doesn't appreciate it, you aren't even getting payed well, you don't get your own ship (you get a Z95 Headhunter as a loan!) and other gear either! ps: Hm...wasn't even cold blood, Rosh after all did try to off Jaden at least twice (the training droid, which luckily didn't have Luke's training routines loaded, but could still have killed Jaden und later on when he joined that Cult of losers!)

Luke's order does not do that and neither did the old/ancient Jedi Order, both train(ed) adults, not to mention that both the old order and Luke's order allow you to have a girlfriend and/or get married - the Grandmaster himself after all married Mara Jade) child snatchers! Sure you could supposedly say no, but frankly we haven't seen that so I doubt most people ever did! Hell, I blame this for the fall of too many students to the Dark Side! Why? Family and friends are good attachments to have, they keep you grounded, something nobody at the old Jedi Temple on Coruscant had! ps: This has better gameplay and story than the latest Jedi-Games...it truly needs a sequel or five :)

It’s definitely cheats, because in the original game whenever you stab Rosh your saber does not turn red. It’s a mod. So if he has used one mod then he most likely used another

We have to destroy it!" - Instead of studying stuff and learning...but then again, the modern Jedi Orders at best re-discover old knowledge (like when Luke learns from other Force Sects), but that they themselves research the force? Nope! Seriously, I prefer the Je'dai from legends, an oder that held BALANCE between the sides (partly because they had to, because Tython reacted badly if they gravitated too much to one side!) and did research!

To be honest, Jaden didn't have much of a choice: Ragnos was set free, and all his power was contained within a scepter. And Luke didn't mention what to do in case he is released. So, Jaden just used what he had to do. Plus, some Dark Side artifacts (in Legends, at least) are corrupted with the eccess Dark Side energy. For example, Exar Kun's lightsaber had a serious negative influence on one Mandalorian doctor, who later became known as Demagol. It's not canon, where Mandos (pragmatic fighters in Legends) destroy super-weapons created by their own, instead of using them against the Empire. Because "for Mandalore".
