I think if this story instead was a Disney show and not a game, it would have still been pretty good. Disney has done good, only with stories that have no main Star Wars characters as a focal point, and tie into the main story. Once a largely loved character, or the main story line of the franchise get into a Disney story, then they sh!t the bed before filming even starts.

The best games have no multiplayer and plenty of us gamers prefer single player narratives over competitive multiplayer, GoW (2018), Spider-man (PS4), plenty of RPGS, Zelda: BotW, a d basically any phenomenal masterpiece exclusives from Sony and Nintendo are great example of why single player games are amazing, this games only further validates my point as well! Not to also mention that games with an amazing single player story but also a tacked on multiplayer are usually only memorable and beloved for their narration not there meh multiplayer (examples of this are the Last of Us, the Uncharted games, Doom (2016), RDR2, etc.)!

However, the game has no story, no characters (except one that you mostly don't understand), no villains, no combat, no fucking showmanship for anything. You literally get the double-bladed lightsaber by visiting one of the same frigging benches you find anywhere. You literally walk up to it, then boom, double-bladed lightsaber. The only character that is good loses its likability instantly cuz of a stupid-ass design choice. Literally, every time you open a chest the droid runs off your shoulder into the chest, and each and every single god damned time the MC yells out in surprise. EACH AND EVERY SINGLE GOD DAMNED TIME. There are 30 chests alone, on the first planet...

Some games, like Mass Effect 3 co-op, are a sort of diamond in the rough, adding multiplayer really made something unique and special. But if you added multiplayer to every single player title you will probably get more trash than anything; Dragon Age co-op was sort of meh, even though it should have been great coming from the same developer as ME3. If Respawn added a sort of For Honor inspired multiplayer I could see it working well with the Dark Souls style combat, but there will always be that constant fear from the community that devs will take the monitization too far.

I had the same thing happen to me. If you look closely, he was doing the double-jump flip animation since the slide was glitching and it considered the player to be falling when you need to jump. Joe got across by jumping earlier than it seemed he should.

I don't know how you feel about MMORPGs but if you play the sith warrior class on SWTOR it gives you a very strong well voiced story that allows you to be the good guy or go full evil dark lord. It was the only class story I actually played 100% through and I must say it was very well done.

Yeah, Joe has been crying for years about getting a single player Star Wars game and then when he gets one, he wants multi player. My guess is Joe really sucked at this game since he is afraid of anything from Fromsoftware and this game was not theirs, but a spiritual cousin. Joe wanted co-op so Del could kill everything. Then just like Borderlands 3 Joe would complain it was too easy. Did any of you guys catch Joe's Borderland 3 stream on Twitch. Del was like Guts in Beserk, he killed everything and then Joe said the game was to easy in his review, I about spit my drink up.

I found that the game was challenging, but not way too much. The final boss was quite a lot harder than others and I felt very accomplished after beating her.

Yeah I don't undrstand people like Joe, the first thing they ask when they get what they want, is ask for the shit they don't want, the shit they blamed for ruining games in the first place. WE WANT GOOD SINGLEPLAYER GAMES ( but with multiplayer too ). Forcing multiplayer is what ruined Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3, Fallout, Mankind Divided, and the rest.

@@Texelion Mass effect's mp didn't ruin the game, nor did dragon age inquisition (That's not the second game, that's the third one.), or fallout, and I cannot speak for mankind divided. You do know that Fallout: Tactics was multiplayer right? Look, point is that none of those games (excluding fallout because you mentioned a franchise not one particular game, but we all know you mean 76) were COMPLETELY RUINED by multiplayer. Fallout 76 was EXCLUSIVELY multiplayer, and ruined itself not because it was a multiplayer driven experience, but because it was mishandled. You can have an opinion on how bad or good those games were, but the side experience didn't ruin those games. Especially so for mass effect 3 and DA3, both of which were phenomenally made games, and had hours upon hours of single player focused content. The former unfortunately had content cut from the main story and later to be sold again as DLC. but that's not the topic of discussion. If somehow DA3 having an optional multiplayer ruined the single player experience, well, you'd be fucking daft.
