This is absolutely fkin fantastic. Vader's saber ingnition gave me chills. Seriously. And ya know what's best? This classic scene even holds up dramatically even without Williams' score. That's when you know you've got something special. I'd love to see these modern sound effects WITH the score. Would be awesome. Great work, dude!

I just consciously noticed this for the first time after all these years, but the basic background colors at the beginning of the duel, blue and reddish orange, match the colors of Luke and Vader's light sabers.

What I really love about this is that the lightsaber sound effect sounds like it did in the old days (i.e. pre-Disney Star Wars) Modern-day lightsaber clash sound effects have kind of a dull thud to them, like lightsabers are solid objects but in this video they make all sorts of crazy sounds as a LASER SWORD should. Excellent work!

This beautiful and carefully crafted resound alongside Adywan's redone VFX makes for the definitive version of this scene. 1:39 to 2:31 is my favourite part. I love the work put into accurately recreating the background ambience and adding some bassy undertones to the lightsaber and Force audio. It's evident a lot of love and work was put into this project.

Too much emphasis is placed on the fight itself. It doesn’t matter as much as you think it does. How good the fight choreography is or what the colors are or sound effects should be is irrelevant. It’s about what’s going on with the characters, meaning their internal background and pressures. That’s what makes this scene so much more interesting than any of the nonsense in the prequels or sequels or spin-offs or other crap.
