''He's too dangerous to be left alive'' Remember how Palpatine said this in the beginning? However true this may be, Master Windu never would have accepted this excuse from Anakin. Now Anakin has to watch Windu do and say the exact same thing he would have expelled him for. Grievous is canonically one of the stronger warriors to ever live. He was a warrior who sacrificed his body for cybernetic enhancements to become stronger. He's essentially just some organs in the pickle jar but has slain numerous Jedi Masters. Now just imagine if he was force sensitive, he would have be stronger than Vader.

@@shinrapresident7010 Saying that "There's just not" is an extremely bad argument. As long as hes not using his emotions to dictate his actions he didn't do anything wrong. The Sith was an enemy of the republic and he did not technically break any Jedi rules. To add an even stronger agument, palpatine may not have had a lightsaber, but he definetely demonstrated he was still deadly without one. Which also may have been a factor in trying to execute him. Actually it most definetely was since he was only trying to execute him after palpatine shot lightning at him. If someone pointed a loaded gun at me but didn't shoot, hes still a threat to me and others, especially after having just fired that gun lol. You can't argue against that, but you can certiantly try!

The beginning of the downfall of Anakin was how he was taken from his mother in the first Star Wars movie, I mean; in the republic the Jedi were identified at very early age, however the practical means by which they were incorporated into the academy were a lot more considerate, .. although he was freed by the deal Ben Kenobi’s teacher (Qui gon Jinn) made with Watto, .. it was way he was freed, and the circumstance, .. to take this child away from his mother in such a way began the unreconcilable ripples within the force!! picked up on within Jedi council session via Yoda & Mace windu, these ripples intensified during Anakin’s enrolment and early training, causing slight contempt for the council, and especially when learning they’re trust in him wasn’t sincere because of his force abilities. So in conclusion the Jedi order actually helped with the early stages of Vader’s creation not only by principle but more so practice In light of episode III Palpatine was controlling nearly everything!! however slight/subtle his manipulation of Anakin was nothing short of perfect, again based upon the vacuum in his life of no parents, although Ben Kenobi was like a father figure to him, His loyalty was first to the council which was also an underline problem between them, so in many respects Anakin felt alone, and it was the subtle encouragement of the chancellor (Palpatine) to engage and continue in exploring his passion and of course personal needs .. enter Padme, so I’m certainly in the understanding that he also arranged for her to have lesser role in politics as to be able to submerge into a more secretive relationship with Anakin, all the while slowly edging him more and more to the chancellors wishes.

Padmé died because A. She was broken hearted by Anakin's actions, his plan to take over The Empire and for believing she turned against him. B. She was in late stage of pregnancy with twins which takes a lot of energy from a woman's body. C. She was Force Choked even though she doesn't die instantly from it. All three facotrs together made her die plus the fact she spent her last energy giving birth to Luke and Leia, it's no wonder that she was dying. Also, Sidious claim of Vader killing Padmé wasn't fully a lie but true from a certain point of view. He did indirectly caused her to die.

As with most movies, there are deleted scenes. Three, cut from this film involve Padme, Bail Organa (Jimmy Smiths), Mo Mothma (red-haired Lady, seen as leader of the Rebels in RotJ), and a few others, discuss the formation of the Rebellion. Lucas said he cut these to center the story on Anikan and the Jedi, and this is a long film as it is -wish even one of these scenes was included, so Padme would have influence, and not just be pregnant. For me, the Jedi council, pushed A LOT Anakin to the dark side. They´re afraid of him, never truly trusted him, never gave him any serious mission... and mixed with Anakin fears (mostly for Padme) and feeling himself always excluded... the final step was all the Emperor´s manipulation during years but... the Jedi Council had big part of responsibility in this disaster. Even in the last chance he said the truth to Windu. Anakin tried and tried to follow the right path, but all these things became him in Darth Vader. The Emperor was right, unfortunately, when he said something about the "dogmatic and narrow view of the Jedi". They were blinded...

Palpatine revealing his true nature to Anakin and then letting him go to tell Windu is my absolute favorite example of just how devious his scheming is. He let Anakin go because he KNEW that the Jedi would react with blind hostility. He could then frame their attack as an assassination attempt with the goal of gaining control of the Republic. We're like “ I'm so proud of Anakin for being honest and telling Mace Windu". Meanwhile, Sidious is grinning from ear to ear because no matter what they would've tried to remove him from power, he could shape it to look like they were trying to take over. And the scary part: it actually did become an assassination attempt. He's not even lying about that. They went in to arrest him; by the time Anakin popped into the room, that had been entirely escalated into unaliving him. Taken out of context, sure. But his accusations of what they were trying to do were technically true.

Grievoius "coughed" all the time because he ISNT a "robot" or Droid, his "body" is actually a "prosthetic" of sorts, his brain and heart encased in a droid carapace, heres some info from the Star Wars Wiki: Grievous, born Qymaen jai Sheelal, was a Kaleesh male warlord who served within the military forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems as a commanding officer during the Clone Wars in the final years of the Republic Era. In addition to his position as a general within the Separatist Droid Army, the Kaleesh held the title of Supreme Martial Commander of the Separatist Droid Armies throughout the duration of the war, in which he led countless engagements against the Republic's Grand Army. Recognized for his ruthless tactics and extensive cybernetic enhancements, Grievous utilized the Separatist Droid Army and his adept combat skills to instill fear throughout the galaxy as he traveled to and invaded planets, while also engaging numerous Knights of the Jedi Order, his sworn enemies.

*possible spoiler warning* dont read beyond this if you plan on watching the clone wars tv series. Youve been warned lol. The clones are made with whats called an inhibitor chip, this chip makes them obiedient to many specific orders given to them, most notably order 66. They have no choice but to follow the order. They dive into this deeper in the show, and I honestly recommend watching it, especially the last few seasons, you learn the clones are in fact individuals, and you also see more of Anakin's downfall as he starts to lose faith in the Jedi. The show will make order 66 much more sad, since many of the Jedi killed are given much more flushed out stories.

So the because the sith use the force as a weapon rather than let the will of the force guide them it enables them to have "unnatural" force abilities such as force choke, force crush, and force lightning. It requires you to tap into your rage, hatred, and pain. Depending on your connection to the force, the more powerful your abilities will be hence why Dooku was able to do force lightning, he just switched sides.

Anakin's scene where he finally aligns with Palpatine is a little sudden but you need to consider the "sunk cost fallacy" from Anakin's perspective , out of reaction he helps kill Windu as he truly believes Palpatine can help him save Padme, then when Palpatine starts with "I dunno how to do it but we will work it out" and "kill the jedi", Anakin feels trapped and that he has put so much of his being into Palpatine plans that he can't pull out of them, and thus it goes on worse and worse for him 😢

One of the most fascinating parts about this whole trilogy, is who knows that Palpatine is Darth Sidious. In episode 1, the Trade Federation were used by Darth Sidious, to get Palpatine an electoral boost. By episode 2, Count Dooku (AKA Darth Tyrannus - the person who recruited Jango Fett for episode 2) knows it's the same person. Dooku is the figurehead leader of the Confederacy. The Confederacy leaders, including General Grevious know they're working for Dooku, and his master, Darth Sidious. Nobody other than Dooku knows it's the same person. When Grevious abandons the Invisible Hand, leaving Sidious / Palpatine to die in the crash, he has no clue he left his master to die. Some of his long time aides like Mas Ameda have known for years, and came to the Senate with Palpatine. The fact that Sidious can manipulate two sides in a Galactic War, blame the entire WAR on the Jedi, and flip the Republic into the Empire, all from Coruscant, right under the Jedi's noses, is why Anakin realises Sidious's power level. He does all of this, while grooming Anakin. There's knowledge on how to prevent death in the Master's section of the Jedi Archives. Palpatine KNEW the Jedi would never accept Anakin onto the Council, denying him the rank, and the blame would fall on the Jedi. The rank was the ONLY thing he wanted. After that door was closed, Palpatine opened his, by outing himself as the Sith Lord, and someone with the power the Jedi just denied him. The arrest of the Supreme Chancellor was also a performance. He was toying with the four Jedi Masters until Anakin was about to walk through the door, at which point the performance began, forcing Anakin to make a choice. The duel was just the setup. Just before the start of this movie, the Jedi were closing in on the ID of Darth Sidious. They tracked him to 500 Republica (a huge building for the rich and powerful). His distraction was to call on Grevious to attack Coruscant, and kidnap Palpatine. Lots of Jedi died trying to prevent that. This is the final act of the novel Labyrinth Of Evil.

You could never will her death. Never. But you remember… You remember all of it. You remember The Dragon that you brought Vader forth from your heart to slay. You remember the cold venom in Vader’s blood. You remember the furnace of Vader’s fury, and the black hatred of seizing her throat to silence her lying mouth… And there is one blazing moment in which you finally understand that there was no Dragon. That there was no Vader. That there was only you. Only Anakin Skywalker. That it was all you. Is you. Only you. You did it. You killed her. You killed her because, finally, when you could have saved her, when you could have gone away with her, when you could have been thinking about her, you were thinking about yourself… It is in this blazing moment that you finally understand the trap of The Dark Side, the final cruelty of The Sith - Because now yourself is all you will ever have. And you rage and scream and reach through The Force to crush The Shadow who has destroyed you, but you are so far less now than what you were. You are more than half machine, you are like a painter gone blind, a composer gone deaf, you can remember where the power was but the power you can touch is only a memory, and so with all your world-destroying fury it is only droids around you that implode, and equipment, and the table on which you were strapped shatters, and in the end, you cannot touch The Shadow. In the end, you do not even want to. In the end, The Shadow is all you have left. Because The Shadow understands you, The Shadow forgives you, The Shadow gathers you unto itself- And within your furnace heart, you burn in your own flame. This is how it feels to be Anakin Skywalker. Forever…”

Keep in mind that the sequels are NOT the story George Lucas wanted to tell. He had nothing to do with the creation of the sequels. In fact, when Disney bought Star Wars from him, they actually rejected his story treatments for the sequels in favor of letting different directors make up the story of each film as they went along, and it shows. They have little to do with the rest of the story. The story George Lucas had written was much different from what Disney ended up doing. After the darkness and drama of Ep.3, I usually suggest people watch Solo: A Star Wars Story next. It's a much more fun, light-hearted adventure, and it comes next in the timeline anyway. Then you should watch the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, which I think you'll find very interesting. Then comes Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the other TV shows. You can leave the sequels for last, last, last. They're the last thing in the current timeline anyway.

After be burned, Vader suffered a lung damage so serious. That´s why he needed the suit (with a ventilation equipment) to breath and live. Besides, on purpose, this equpment "worked" with rage, anger and all his suffering. That´s why in Episode VI after kill the Emperor, with this ventilation destroyed and without rage and anger... he couldn´t live.

Hey, Emmy! Boy is there a LOT to unpack in this movie. Also, I can post a lot of things I couldn't before, because this movie closes out "The Lucas Six" (meaning the 6 movies he wrote), but I'll avoid spoilers for anything else. Just so you know, I do this for a lot of newer fans, and I've gotten pretty good at it. =D Then again, I've been "into" these movies since the original released in 1977. The OT I've seen over 1000 times each. The PT, the upper 100s of times each. Everything else, in the dozens of times each, or maybe even the low 100s each. Depends on how old it is, and in the series (animated and live action) it depends on how many seasons/episodes. As an example, Clone Wars is in the "20s" because it's 7 seasons long. Rebels, at only 4 seasons, is somewhere in the "50s". Rogue One (my favorite movie offering from the Disney era) is in the mid-hundreds at this point (400-500 viewings). While "Solo" is still around 100, but getting higher by a few viewings each year. Sounds crazy, doesn't it. But remember, with the OT, we're talking "in theater" viewings, plus VHS viewings, DVD viewings, Blu-Ray viewings, and streaming viewings over the last 40-45 years. I've worn out multiple copies of the VHS tapes. Anyway, enough of that.... let's get into it! 6:10 - It has been a little over 3 years since the start of the war. Both Anakin and Obi-Wan were promoted based on their battle with Count Dooku in Episode II. Obi-Wan is now a Jedi Master and Anakin is a Jedi Knight, hence why their hairstyles are different. Like Obi-Wan, once promoted to Knight, Anakin grew his hair out to distinguish himself from Padawans. Also, both men are functioning as "Generals" in the Grand Army of the Republic, each leading a battalion of Clone Troopers. While the Clones were assigned numbers at "birth", each one has developed a personality of their own based on their life experiences. Obi-Wan's Clone Commander is named "Cody", we don't see Anakin's Clone Commander in this movie. If you think about it, there is a very subtle "nature vs nurture" reference going on here. All of the Clones are "identical", from their DNA, to their voices, to their training... and yet "differences" crept in along the way, and each Clone has become an individual. 6:30 - Grievous is the "public leader" of the Droid Army... but he is not a droid himself. He is actually a cyborg. There is actually very little of his biological body left, encased in that life support suit. If you look closely at his eyes, you can see the scales around them. 12:45 - Patience, young Padawan.... you still have two movies between Episode III and Episode IV (Solo and Rogue One). I mean, technically speaking, you could skip Solo if you wanted to... but Rogue One is required viewing at this point. No spoilers, but that movie was so good, when I was sitting in the theater to see it, it took me back to being that 10 year old kid seeing 'Star Wars" for the first time in 1977. It didn't get the subtitled "Episode IV : A New Hope" until its 1979 re-release, before Episode V released. 20:40 - Listen VERY carefully to the dialogue throughout this scene, and think back (forward?) to Return of the Jedi. "Good is a *point of view*, Anakin." - Palpatine.... "Luke, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own *point of view*." - Obi-Wan Kenobi. Pay attention to the rest of it, as well... but those two lines are the most direct "echo" from the two movies. Also, "Point of view" carries into our world, as well. Have you ever heard the old idiom, "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"? Same thing.... "point of view". If you take those three words into consideration... you'll see them everywhere in Star Wars. Movies, series (live action and animated), books, comics, graphic novels, even in some fan fictions (the good ones, anyway). 22:35 - Earlier, when Yoda told Anakin to train himself to "let go of everything you fear to lose." I get where he's coming from, but... and I'll try to keep this part as short as I can... My first wife, Rose was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2003. She battled it for about 3 years before it finally claimed her. She went through a living Hell dealing with all of that. I refused to leave her, and she even offered to break up with me to protect me. While I admire that she made the offer, there was no way I was going to allow her to go through that without me. I told her, "How can I claim to love you as much as I do if I was willing to 'walk away' when you need me the most?" In June of 2006, we were told that there was nothing more the doctors could do except try to keep her as pain free as they could, until the end. She was given 1-3 months to live. We were both devastated, but honestly, she was more worried about how **I** would cope with losing her than she was with her own death. She knew that I would be devastated beyond words. As much as she appreciated me standing by her side through all of this, I know that part of her regretted my decision knowing just what might happen to me after she was gone. There's a lot more to the story, and I'll tell you if you really want to know. But you're under no obligation. Let's just say that, before she died, she promised to send me someone when the time was right, so that I wouldn't be lonely for the rest of my life, and I have Katina in my life as proof that indeed she did follow through with that promise. But it took me years to finally come to terms with my "new normal". But let's just say that I really could relate to Anakin's fear. Wookies live hundreds of years, naturally. Chewbacca was 200 years old in A New Hope. This movie takes place about 20 years prior to that, so he would be 180 years old here. 30:05 - Another scene to listen to every single word carefully. Mace says, (accents mine) "IF what you've told me is TRUE, you *will have gained my trust*." Mace straight up admitted at that moment that he didn't trust Anakin, and maybe it took a minute to sink into his young brain, but being left alone in the council chambers to think about it. Also, you can lightly hear Palpatine telling Anakin that, "If the Jedi kill me, any chance of saving her will be lost." Combine that with Anakin's belief that, "I know there are things about The Force they are not telling me." That, plus all of the other manipulations Palpatine used on him over the years made it almost impossible for Anakin NOT to turn. (continued in 1st reply to this)

34:30 - "Darth" isn't a name, it's a title. The Sith name is bestowed upon a newly anointed apprentice upon being accepted. Darth Plagues (the wise) was indeed the master of Darth Sidious, who trained Darth Maul, then Darth Tyrannus, and finally Darth Vader. It was not uncommon for a Sith Master to train more than one apprentice, because they MIGHT try to replace them before they were ready to actually succeed. 52:25 - Both legs.... AND his left arm..... in one fluid sweeping motion. 53:00 - Anakin/Vader's injuries weren't only on the outside.... but he was severely damaged on the inside, as well. The emotional scars of what he' just been through, piled on top of those, he actually breathed in some of that fire and smoke that he breathed scarred his lungs pretty badly. THIS is why he needed that suit of armour that had a respirator built into it, and the breathing was constant, even while he was speaking. Obviously, that wasn't Anakin's voice being heard, but the sound of the voice modulator that was installed within it. In the novelization, the voice even shocked him by its mechanical sound the first time he heard it. 53:35 - To be fair, the FIRST Star Wars was a "children's movie", and we saw Owen and Beru's smoldering skeletons outside their front door. That was rated PG, but a "1977 PG".... which, including the year in as a reference, changes everything. Revenge of the Sith was a "2005 PG-13" movie... Probably not as much difference as you might think between the two as far as "graphic content" is concerned. Before "PG-13" became a thing in 1984, you'd flip to see how broad the spectrum that PG covered prior to that. Hell, I want to see you react to the PG rated movies I watches as a child. The thought process was, "It's rated PG... how bad can it be? Not like it's an R rated movie with lots of sex in it!" is how they thought back then. I mean, we saw violence on the evening news (because "Vietnam" was going on, and I lived in Baltimore) every day. We didn't get "graphic footage coming up! send your children out of the room!" warnings.... they just went right on into it, and nobody cared. One movie I would LOVE to see you do, is called "The Black Hole", it was Disney's very first PG rated movie, and it came out in 1979. It IS on Disney+, but you have to use the Search bar to find it. Don't watch the trailer for it, as it contains some spoilers. I saw it in theaters (I was 12 years old) and loved it! That's not saying that YOU will, because our understanding of science and black holes has advanced considerably since then. Another "1976 PG" rated movie you would find interesting, "The Bad News Bears" (but make sure it's the 1976 version! There have been remakes)... Saw THAT movie in theaters, too. The remakes changed a LOT about the script, and feel free to watch them, just watch the original FIRST, for a point of reference. Hell, I'm going to go watch that movie when I'm done with your video here. =D The original Mad Max - Rated PG. The original "Planet of the Apes" movies (except for the 4th one, "Conquest".... which was rated PG) were ALL rated "G" for General Audiences! Gremlins - Rated PG. Raiders of the Lost Ark (as well as Temple of Doom) both rated PG. Hell, "The Day After" was a MADE FOR TV movie, FFS! It's on KZbin.... that movie will traumatize you, and for us in 1983, it was a SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT! The first movie ever released as PG-13 was "Red Dawn". An entertaining movie, but looking back on it, it was a well made "Cold War Propaganda Piece". (Sorry for the tirade.... but I guess that shows that, even 20 years ago could be considered "A much different time". =D 54:05 - Actually, not only is he conscious, but he was given nothing to dull the pain during this surgery. Sidious did that in order to strengthen Vader's connection to the Dark Side of The Force. 55:20 - There is a "theory" (it's never been confirmed in canon, though) that Palpatine used The Dark Side of The Force to drain Padme's life force in order to keep Vader alive. It's possible, and it fits the overall story, so it occupies space in my personal "head canon". ;) 55:40 - Of course. Make Vader loath himself, and again, strengthen his connection to the Dark Side. 56:10 - Actually, splitting them up was smart. Even if one were found, the other wouldn't be with them. Remember, Obi-Wan and Yoda believed Anakin was dead, but Palpatine knew Padme was pregnant with Anakin's child. It wasn't "by accident" that Palpatine knew they had gotten married. Remember, he was a Senator from Naboo originally. Even if The Force didn't tell him, his spies on the planet would have. He left nothing to chance. With everything he manipulated, it truly didn't matter "which side" was successful, he was prepared for either side to achieve a goal. Whichever side achieved their goal, he was at least one step closer to taking over the galaxy. Also, only a VERY few people in the galaxy knew that Anakin was Vader. Palpatine, of course... but also Grand Moff Tarkin (from Episode IV, who plainly knew who was inside that armour by his dialogue). No spoilers, but only a handful of others did, I won't toss out spoilers, because in my eyes, it ruins the fun of story plot twist discovery. But let's finish this up, shall we? 56:25 - Only C-3PO's mind gets wiped. R2-D2 can be trusted with secrets. 56:44 - Notice how Padme appears to still be pregnant? This was intentional. Yoda, Obi-Wan, Senator Organa (who took in Leia), and a few VERY highly trusted people helped hide the fact that Padme had given birth. Again, Palpatine was from Naboo, and likely had spies all over the place. They would report back to him that she had actually died PRIOR to giving birth, giving him one less threat to worry about. For now, anyway. Turns out, after the Death Star was destroyed in Episode IV, both Palpatine and Vader invested heavily in finding out who that pilot was. This was detailed in comic book form, and Vader used Boba Fett to discover that the pilot's name was "Skywalker". Vader kept this piece of information to himself, because it told him that Palpatine had lied to him about Padme NOT having given birth before dying. As we saw in Empire Strikes Back, Palpatine DID end up finding out eventually, but Vader played dumb.

Alright, so, now, you watched all 6, so there are not much spoilers left for you, so I'll try to answer your questions, and I may have 2-3 links for you to explain what is not shown in the movies, Why Anakin is refused the rank of Master: it's a position that jedis gain after a series of tests & trials. When Windu asked Anakin to wait while they were going to confront the chancellor, it was his test to become a master (resist the call of the dark side)--& Anakin failed big time, choosing the dark side instead of being patient. Who 1st read the prophecy ?--thousands of years before Yoda was born, Palpatine don't know how to save people from death, bcs he was so much in a hurry to become emperor, that he killed his master before learning everything (Can't call yourself Emperor & call someone else master at the same time--Plagueis would be emperor & Palpatine number 2). Order 66=the clones turn against their jedis commanders--that's how the entire order was wiped out in a few minutes--planned from the start (when Obi meets the bounty hunter in ep.2, he tells him he was recruited by Tyrannus (Dooku, the emperor's 2nd apprentice). In reality, Palpatine didn't think about anything, he only executed the Grand Plan of Darth Bane, created 1000 yrs before episode 1. Too long to explain, but watch this to get the complete story from the start (21 minutes resume of everything--will be shorter than writing): kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2q0qn6ia8mad5Y And the entire Sith lineage from the first to last: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWjSoq2anb94nLM. And finally, a fan-made joke about what happened to the emperor after return of the jedi (better if you know the quotes of the original trilogy): kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3y6h3asbdqKeqs. Watch the first 2 to get the full story (stop at the death star, as you already watched the OT)--and the 3rd for a good laugh. Have a nice day.

Stormtroopers weren't a thing at all until the Empire. In fact, until the days of the Empire, clones in unmarked white armor were typically inexperienced new clones who were not yet assigned to a division yet (often called "shinies"). More about this is laid out in The Clone Wars and Bad Batch TV series.
