If you want this "Syndicate" style of gameplay, you need to try Mount & Blade Warband and/or any of it's many free full conversion mods. In fact, I think there's a Star Wars mod for it?

The star wars mod, IIRC , is for Mount and Blade, not Warband. But the mod is extremely well done and fun despite missing some features from the expansion. Would highly recommend if you like open world games and an unique star wars experience. Its a little dated and grindy but is very, very addictive

The part with ND-9 trying to kill Kay, but still warning her to stay away and run away from him is honestly the best writing in the game.. granted it's not much, but it's a little bit, it could also be some bias on my end as I've always liked the Droids in Star Wars, well some of them anyway.

I very much agree. It has genuine palpable emotion. To make that last forced stealth section enjoyable because of it, I think, says something about the importance of good writing. Naturally that's subjective - and I did raise my eyebrow a bit at the implications that he used the freedom spike on himself by his own volition.

yeah, just chest, just ignore her goblin face and also the general trend of western AAA's of uglifying women. It's not so much that game is "woke" as much people making it are, if that makes sense. It's not that characters inside a game start to talk to you about communism, it's still a mainstream product not Dustborn or something like that, but god forbid them making women look femine. The only actress western AAA devs have zero problem translating 1 to 1 into videogames is Debra Wilson (who is, for some reason, in every 3rd western AAA game right now). And i'm not asking for Stellar Blade feminine, but like, Lara Croft Reboot feminine? Obviously if the game was very good otherwise it's whatever, but each element piling on so to speak, and main cahracter looking the way that she is is one of them for alot of people (and by alot i mean people with eyes)

1:30 Your English is great but the word Yacht is pronounced more like Ya-Ought. For whatever reasons, the ch doesn't make the normal ch sound. Edit: I looked it up, it is borrowed from Dutch and we don't have the raspy back of the throat ch sound necessary so we just made it silent over time. You don't sound like you have enough peanut butter in your mouth to be Dutch.

But I did have a few times where characters that were on watch turned their heads to me but didn't see me. I guess because from a technical standpoint their AI is looking ahead

I'm not sure what agenda that would be, outside of Ubisoft trying to get more people to subscribe to their game service and utterly failing, causing them to give up and finally release it on Steam lol. I feel like a lot of Ubisoft's shady endeavours should receive this sort of community response (I'm saying this in reference to one of their higher-ups stating that games should get used to not owning their games). But yeah, a lot of star wars related media, even going as far as the prequel trilogy, has been very hit or miss.

Hahahah WHAT!?? You are LITERALLY the very 1st kid I've heard attempt but fail, to defend the stealth system. I've seen a MINIMUM of a dozen of these, & it's been UNIVERSALLY hated. It "spots" her from miles away, when they shouldn't...& then walk up to a VERY sparse amount of grass/bushes, & just deep around like they can't see her. I get it's a trope, 1 that Ubisoft actually kinda invented to some degree, w/the 1st Assassin's Creed...but now they can't even match their OWN "standard" of that game, & it was nearly 2 DECADES ago, around 2007. I'm glad you specifically said you were "talkin some wild sh**...that's probably the MOST accurate statement of the entire video. I get it, millennials have this DEEP desire to be "contrarian" @ every POSSIBLE opportunity, so that means on good games, they'd look for bad aspects, & HORRENDOUS games that are nearly 100% UNIVERSALLY hated, like this, they/you look for positives, but to mention, of ALL things, the stealth system? Kinda makes me think you've not played VASTLY better games, like the Metal Gear series. You also described the story as "so interesting", again the very 1st person I've heard say anything REMOTELY close to this. I know almost everybody's mother told en "you're a special snowflake ❄️", & "you are special", but you're being WAY, WAYYYYY too generous or kind or whatever. This Game is a literal DISGRACE to gaming, like most other newer games, ESPECIALLY Ubisoft, but I'll just listen off their disappointments, to help absolutely SOLIDIFY my point(s), w/examples: 1) Watchdogs 4) Avatar(ded) 2) The Division 1/2 3) Far Cry 5) Assassin's Creed, since the Ezio series, from OVER a decade ago 6) "The Crew", which I believe has MULTIPLE versions, over many years, but I've never played, so not as familiar 7) Skull & Bones 8) Charlie's Angels 9) Ghost Recon 10) Splinter Cell There is TEN examples, to help prove my point...so I find it GENUINELY offensive, to attempt but fail to defend this company. Disagree why the game has flaws and bugs its not a disaster by any stretch of the imagination what it does get right is the atmosphere and immersion of being in the star wars universe the music in the game is fantastic they nailed it with the music its not a bloated mess with far too much to do like other ubisoft titles the combat is good not perfect but good the stealth mechanics could be better i admit but its good and nothing game breaking as for the bugs i havent experienced anything game breaking at all and im playing on the xbox series x i bought the ultimate edition and in its defence it had a better launch than star wars jedi survivor that game was a buggy mess unplayable at launch for alot of people and thats now considered by some to be the best star wars game ever personally i disagree i think star wars outlaws with patches to fix it up which are coming next month has the potential to be one of the best star wars titles out there imo.
