One of the best parts of Ezra's character is not just how he eventually takes the lessons of Kanan, Yoda, Ahsoka, etc to heart, but that he also passes those lessons and wisdom onto others as well. He's genuinely inspiring.

Yup we share the same birthday except he's about 10 years older than me exactly I was pretty sad that day when we got the news.. That was after I saw him in videos about how happy he was to play that role in the ahsoka series He was all smiles

Gar Saxon was Maul’s second in command during his reign over Mandalore, he even had his armour in designed after his likeness.

Fen Rau is a really interesting character, he feels so formal kind of an idea of Mandalorians in a role as more traditionalist which I find fascinating.

Mandos love to fight, and they specifically love to fight the strongest warriors they can find. When they can't find anyone else to fight, they often resort to fighting themselves since who else are a strong warriors than other Mandos.

He’d be so confused if he was ever put into the Mandalorian show. But man oh man does he need a history lesson. Fighting each other is literally what Mandos do and have for 10,000 years. Though I’m interested to see if that changes now that we’re further down the timeline and Mandalore’s united. But I’ll tell you what. I don’t envy Bo at all. She’s got her work cut out for her.

rip Ray Stevenson the voice of Gar Saxon , He's also in the new Ahsoka show Doing a different character.. he was so enthusiastic and excited about playing that new role I was watching videos of interviews with him he was all smiles Then a few hours later we got the news that he passed I was pretty sad, Then I found out we share a birthday..He died a few days before his birthday he was 58 ..it's interesting because they never Released the cause of death ,Still.. Nothing confirmed Everything is still speculation.. He was on set Location for a new movie Cassino When he got ill..

Sabine has her jetpack 🥰. I love how Rau has gone from reluctant guest to ally. Gotta love how Iron Squadron continues the trend of Chopper hating all other droids(except AP5 and R2). This also is a great showcase(like Brothers Of The Broken Horn last season) of how much Ezra has grown(since he actually quoted his master). People chalk the latter episode up to being a filler episode. Despite it was another Sabine/Ezra story

As a fan of Fenn Rau after his appearance in Season 2, I really appreciated him turning to the Rebels' side. Also really liked the design of the Imperial Supercommando armor. Distinctly Mandalorian but it has that "living skeleton" aesthetic that various stormtrooper variants have.

It's interesting you mentioning Ezra's maturity in 'Iron Squadron' as his behaviour has naturally moved that direction from the beginning, however I believe that was the intention in this episode by comparing Ezra now to how he was in the first episodes using Mart as the stand-in.

If you don't know some of Fen rua's Protector Clan used to be Duchess Satine's Guards when Mandalore was still Independent during the Clone wars. Shame

I love me some Mando episodes. Ezra’s confusion with them fighting each other is more amusing than it should be. He needs a history lesson. When I was watching Mando s3 and the super commandos were ambushing our heroes I was like shoot the guys in white! It reminded me a bit of this episode. But can someone explain something? Rau doesn’t approve of Sabine and her family at this point because they’re clan Viszla/Death Watch. But we see at the beginning of s4 that he knows, respects, and voucjes for Bo Katan who was also in Death Watch like Sabine’s mom. They’re both Night Owls. And I also believe she’s in house Viszla though I could be wrong. So what’s the deal with that? Why is he OK with her but not Sabine? Or did he make ammends with her once he joined the Rebels? I’d like some answers.
