Starkiller used a tiny version of it that would only go out about 5 meters with him at the center. Lord Vitiate could direct it at an individual or group with line-of-sight. Only Sidious was attuned enough to cause it remotely with any precision.

Basically you know the father from the ones arc in Star Wars who used both the light and dark to keep the son and daughter in check basically being the most powerful force user Revan is the only one outside the ones or the skywalkers to understand and uses the force as it should be in its purest form He was neither sith nor Jedi in the end he was more, to the point the Jedi and sith both idolize him and understate his power overall Most people think revan is overrated but the truth is revan is one of those characters that is amoung top tier in Star Wars People don’t think he is cause they think the modern sith like Vader and sidious were more powerful But the truth is they had the potential doesn’t mean they reached the level of power Revan is the character who actually was neft all his life he lost his memories got mind warped and basically started from scratch But he always went out of his way to understand everything and push himself to know the limits of the force This means he outright is more powerful than people who are regarded as powerful cause he never held back knowledge or his actions If it came down to it he could probably beat sidious at his absolute best by extension yoda and top tier Jedi masters Only being under the skywalkers and force entities But they were born with. A strong connection with the force and kinda have everything easy but never get as powerful as they can be cause they didn’t bother to understand the force or understand it’s limits And force entities just embody the force Revan would essentially be better than any version of anakin outsude his full potential same with look And could contend with sidious and yoda, where he. If they might beat him he still has more chances out of anyone to beat them by extension compared to anyone else

A part of me absolutely hates George Lucas for selling out to Disney. Disney was supposed to keep Lucas on as an advisor but as soon as they got the rights, they promptly ousted him completely and messed the entire franchise up for everybody. Am I the only one thinking that the storm isn't as nearly impressive as opening up a freaking WORM HOLE. The amount of focus and power tear one open AND on top of that hold it open and possibly stabilize it so it doesn't destroy the part of the galaxy you are in sounds insermountable then while deciding "I'll just throw some wimpy weather manipulation and force lightning into that hole that traverses space and time".
