My top tier is anything andor, i like star wars shows overall and just enjoy them as is and find some entertainment in it... minus rise of Skywalker. I love seeing folks just enjoying the ride instead of complaining all the time. I have to say i genuinely love the Skeleton Crew s1 so much and put it up there with Andor and Mando s1 in terms of writing and overall joy I find in watching it.

I'm thinking that they've been just making credits all this time waiting for a Republic ship to come pick them up. Because they are isolated and no outward communication, they don't know that the Republic has been wiped out and that the delivery routes were lost (like forgetting a locker combo). They're just doing their jobs like their parents before them. I think that the 'Supervisor' is either long dead or a droid, and that the announcement when the ship arrived is recorded. This would explain why there wasn't any inflection of "where have they been all this time, they're showing up now?" in the tone. A droid wouldn't care that hundreds of years of passed with no apparent contact, they would just continue their protocols until they rusted.

33 socking Jod square in the jaw out of frame and out of nowhere is already one of my show/movie-highlights of 2025. I laughed so much at this. Also, yes, there was a possibility for Jod turning out to be a completely different characters, but i can't say that i mind a bad guy staying bad and arguably even getting worse over the course of a show for once.

My personal delusion is that the kids are getting through to Jod. He's clearly harboring deep trauma over people he cared about dying, likely within the Jedi Order. So rather than seek out emotional connection, he seeks wealth and bought-and-paid-for loyalty. But he's starting to care about the kids, and he's terrified of that. That's why he became so hostile so quickly. Again, maybe I'm just delusional.

This one really felt like an Amblin movie with how serious and dark it got with Jod’s heel turn; movies like E.T and Goonies went there with those kids and glad this show went the same direction. I am really hoping they don’t redeem Jod and just keep him the antagonist. The face he had when he was looking at the credits and the glee he had as he let them rain on his head I was like, “this guy!!!”😤😅 I also believe that this all has to lead to a rebellion on At Attin…this is why we need a season 2 or a continuation somewhere down the line.

We've become accustomed to episodes being roughly 30, but it's still possible that they've saved the longest runtime for the last episode to make sure they've covered everything in good measure. We don't really know what became of Rennod and The Supervisor has been in the background of nearly every episode, but we don't really know anything about him.

There are clues hiding in plain sight sight, just like “I can’’t say I know anything about no At Attin.” The security droid looked at the lightsaber and declared to Jod, “You must be the Republic Emissary.” The Republic Emissaries were probably Jedi. The message in a bottle told the kids to go find a Republic Emissary for help. Jod is definitley someone trained in how to use the Force. Many people point to Jod wielding the lightsaber awkwardly. He handles it like someone more accustomed to a double bladed weapon. Jod may have once been an Inquisior. He pulled the lightsaber to his hand with skill. The control button was under his finger. He was also holding it straight out in a horizontal position. Darth Maul held his lightsaber this way to ignite, and so did Inquisitors. It will be interesting to see who shows up should At Attin send out a distress call. A call to the Republic would likely be answered by an Imperial Remnant, not the New Republic. ------------ The show has been a salute to Amblin Entertainment. But the ship landing and the vault were straight out of the 1960s. The landing platform the descended underground to a large docking bay was just like the film “2001”. The Vault itself was staring out of the James Bond film “Goldfinger/“

You seem to think the new republic know this is here. My understanding is they lost contact. Khymm confirmed they didn't know where it was. Hence the landing strip had grassed over. The Emissary would come to pick up credits but had not forgotten centuries. We haven't seen Alfred Molina's character again so I think the supervisors voice is a wizard of Oz ruse. Tak Rennod was the same species as Hondo ( stills of the holo mage tend to confirm that). I would like it to be him as he was a fun character especially with children. He could be Rennods descendent.

I think the only realistic connection character to bring in would be someone representing the New Republic, that K'ymm brought into the picture, at the very end, just to connect it to the timeline. I could see, for example, General Hera Syndulla showing up, as a representative of the New Republic to make first contact (or the Chimera appearing over the planet, just before the screen fades to black, to tie it into a story line - I could see Thrawn figuring Atattin's secret out).

It will turn out that Wim is indeed force sensitive. I’m guessing he will save the day by force pulling the lightsaber. Also since this takes place in the early years of the new republic, right after the fall of the galactic empire, Luke is just starting to rebuild the Jedi order. I think we will see Luke (or maybe if this a little later his new padawan) come and help after Wim saves the day. We will have a heartfelt scene with Wim and his dad where the dad tells him he should go be a Jedi because that’s what his mom would have wanted. When that happens I will cry.

The planet is from the OLD republic and has been shut off from the outside for 1000’s of years just making old republic credits and filling the vaults. I think they should have been able to get home until a season 2 and I feel like they should have ended with them defeating Jude law cause no on would suspect he could be beaten by kids. And we see who the planet ruler is in the end but the kids need help getting home and a map in season 1 but feel like they should need help vs pirates and I don't like they just get home without seeing one good force user so Neals dream isn tainted by Laws character of his dreams

I've said this on some other reaction/reviews, but what if At-Attin is knowingly or unknowingly the source of Palpatine's funds for the eventual First Order fleet? And he destroyed the other At-planets to keep exposure and the risk of discovery to a minimum (maybe as part of Operation Cinder)? And the supervisor is some minion of Palpatine ensuring Palps gets his money to bankroll all the ships and infrastructure for the FO?

I like Hector's point about this show not ending on a grim note and leaving a bad taste in Wim's mouth about heroes and Jedi--I still have hope for a Jod redemption, even if the scene with him and the kids on the ship absolutely broke me. I remember right around the time the first episode aired there was an actress listed on IMDB credited as playing a character named 'Jedi [x] Na Nawood' who is no longer there (I can't remember the actress' name, it wasn't anyone I recognized)--but I keep thinking about it and the fact IMDB updates with new characters after very episode and can't help but wonder if we really will get some Jod backstory next week.
