No, Star Wars wasn’t a children’s fantasy at first. I hate that people try to push this narrative that George proclaimed during the prequel era as what Star Wars has been from the very jump. It wasn’t, please just stop.

The original trilogy was made for everyone, children & adults. But became more childish with the introduction of the Ewoks. Even as a 10 year old in 1983, I thought they were a stupid idea. Having said that, I have no problem if Skeleton Crew turns out to be aimed at children. It's one show. There are plenty of other SW TV shows for adults.

Star Wars tv outside of Mandalorian and Andor has been crap. Obi wan was garbage, Boba Fett was worse, Ashoka was just ok but doesn’t move the needle, and Acolyte was also terrible.
