Another enjoyable episode, but I do have to say the new segment focus meant I had no real sense on what actually happened (having not watched it myself) in the show compared to previous Nerd Legion episodes where that's never been a problem where the analysis was more accompanied by plot summary. I guess I'll just do a wikipedia plot summary in future if you guys stick with this format, because some of this low quality stuff you suffer through on this show I have no intention of ever watching, but Nerd Legion is never a skip.

So many franchises have official alternative canons. I don't get how Star Wars can't simply have another canon that is also based on the original trilogy but goes into different direction. Without Midi-chlorians and all that nonsense. Keeping the original spirit of the work and expanding on it without making it progressively dumber.

jedi and sith build their own lightsabers so you can maybe put up a fair argument that not everyone is as creative about it and some go out their way to create their builds based off their style of fights. other than that. the whip shit is weird

Just pay for George Lucas to come back with creative control and to write you a new trilogy of movies, then have some amazing writer improve some of the dialog and then just higher a solid cast and crew for all 3 movies at the start. Starwars is the 1 case where you can't use the excuse that it's a big risk to make all 3 at once and it's not like Disney doesn't have the money to invest in it. You would have to try to make that project not make an insane amount of money. But instead they keep making whatever they can get a cheap writer to crap out fast that fits into some vague studio plan that doesn't exist.

Listening to the creator and watching the series.. it seems the jedi are meant to be the bad guys.. I got the absolute opposite.. IF anything the 4 Jedi who got murdered did nothing wrong.. No idea why the wookie deserved to die? he got mind assaulted.. no idea why Torbin got home.. spent 6 years becoming a master.. spent 10 years in solitude and then suicided WTF was that bazel creature doing stopping sol too? The lead female actress was not only awful.. her character was a disgustingly evil person too (both twins)

In which world are you living that you find the fight scenes fantastic? Episode 5 was maybe the worst Star Wars i have ever seen, the fight scenes worked for one reason and one reason only, everyone was brain dead whenever the plot required them to and their fighting strength and skill varied widely around the plot requirements. It made no sense.
