Anakin was a slave all his life. To the slavers on tattoine, to the counsel who wanted him solely for the "chosen one" purpose and lastly to Palpatine. Bound to different owners, but in the end he finally broke free and fulfilled his destiny.

Qui gon jin fun fact. At the time of his death he was actually over sixty years old. In the novel he scored several light strikes on Darth maul, because his grounded and strength oriented ataru style could just smash through mauls defense. To the point that maul was forced to bandage himself in the novels version of the force field scene. Jin had gone through falls to the dark side, the death of a lover and loss of padiwans. He would have been a much better mentor to anakin

I have read about his past with the loss of his love and his dark side tendencies, which reeeally interested me, but I had no idea about this with the battle with maul and about his previous padawans. Man, just imagine if he had been the one to train Anakin...!

True I forget where I heard this (maybe in legends) but I belive sidious told maul to kill jinn specifically because he could interfere with is plan for anakin.

@@AustninReacts I once read an alternate timeline fan fiction where Jinn does train Anakin, only for Kenobi to end up as Sidious's apprentice. It was truly one of the best fictions I read at the time. Wish I could find it again.

Austnin Reacts feel the same way man brought me to tears and just seeing the reaction of others only strengthens that bond that connection the heartache this video brings it's like u said everything Anakin obi wan went through then look at Luke's journey dealing/coming to grips with Vader his father Anakin

Austnin Reacts also just to add this what's even sadder is that during Vader's time as the empire was growing Vader secretly visited padmaes grave on coresant makes you really think about everything that was going on in Vader's head all the way up the point where he finally takes out palpatine for good like we know Vader constantly did sith meditations and we see the really dark monsterous being that Vader had become but even on the inside the true essence of Anakin continued to endure just really makes you think about how a lot of us are today when it comes to being like Anakin not a total literal sense obviously but a lot of what struggles and insecurities each of us have and how far each of us might go to protect all that we love so dear in our lives again not entirely literal like Anakin but you get the idea

Did your know somebody that accidentally got killed in the making of this movie or something? I remember when that actor and some kid got killed by a helicopter that malfunctioned and crashed on top of them while they were practicing a scene and they got decapitated. I am sure the friends and family of those folks get emotional when something brings that incident to the forefront of their memory. Sorry for whatever it was that caused you that pain man.
