That clone who Aurra Sing executed was Commander Ponds. He was the Clone commander of Windu. We have seen him before in Ryloth and Malastare. He was actually in Episode 2 as well. He was the clone who met Windu at the beginning of battle of Geonosis. "I have five special commando units awaiting your orders, sir."

@Vagabond6715 жыл бұрын
@@franziskanerweissbiersfasf8145 I don't think Windu didn't care about his death, it's just that he knows to maintain a certain level of detachment and calmness during these situations. Anakin may show more compassion compared to other jedi, but Anakin's lack of restraint and detachment is what allowed him to be so easily seduced by the dark side.

Man, I fucking love Chaotic Neutral Hondo. I already liked Hondo more than enough when he was just acting like a straight up villain, but as the show goes on and he has more and more of these "Yeah, I'm not messing with the Jedi, Imma just sit this one out" moments, he really becomes such a delight to watch. He just wants to have a good time and not piss off anybody with the power to shoot up his bar, a perfectly reasonable desire lol.

One of my favorite things that’s very subtle but possibly overanalyzed, is when Mace says Boba will have to forgive him, Anakin gives sort of a wtf look at Mace. Because he knows the pain of losing a parent, and the repercussions it causes.
@joeg64784 жыл бұрын
Mace says Boba will have to forgive him becuz even if Boba succeeded in killing Mace, that won't bring his father back and the alternative is letting his hatred consume him. Mace's words, albeit insensitive, aint wrong
@unitedstatesofamerica99483 жыл бұрын
Odd considering how Anakin wanted Boba taken down whereas Mace, despite having no regret for killing Jango, had a look of feeling responsible and bad for Boba doing what he did. When the light becomes darker, the Jedi simply discard it and move onto the next one. Then again, Anakin possibly gained more empathy near the end considering how he went on a rampage killing sand people - savages yes but that had no factor in his massacre.

Mace Windu you can tell feels bad about the situation or at least he's a lot more gentle in his facial features than usual. He went on his knee so that Boba could speak to him at eye level. But he didn't apologize. Compare this to his attitude during The Wrong Jedi as well. Windu does not apologize even when it's called for. Instead he goes on about how whatever happened was necessary. I think the Jedi as a whole, and him especially, have forgotten that saying that you're sorry that something happened is not the same as saying you were wrong. They are so clueless when it comes to how to handle emotions besides don't let your emotions cloud your judgement. Think about 12 or 13 year old Boba there. How far would "I'm sorry for the pain I have caused you." have gone for that kid there. He may still hate Windu and won't forgive him of course, but even subconsciously he may be able to work through his pain

Cock fighting is the main reason humans domesticated the chicken. All the other stuff like meat and eggs and cute floofy show birds came later. Humans just love seeing two animals go at it trying to murder each other. Apparently, so do weequay. Is it barbaric? Yeah, probably. But there's something primal about blood sports that's universal for every culture we know of, and maybe for aliens in a galaxy long ago and far far away, too.

"I'll never forgive you!" "Well... You're gonna have to." God, Mace is SUCH a dick lol. Most of the time he's a likable dick, but every now and then there's times when he's just unJedi-like in his douchebag-ery. I know that's an intentional flaw of his character and all, that he just barely toes the line between the light and the dark sides, and that it makes him arrogant and standoffish, but still... Even Aurra and Hondo had more sympathy for Boba's circumstances than he did lol.
@Priceluked5 жыл бұрын
Mace isn't even unJedi-like with his dickness. That's a Jedi truly following the code is supposed to be. Impartial and passionless.
@carolinaa.44072 жыл бұрын
@@Priceluked I’m two years late but I’ll say this, that’s not how Jedi are supposed to be, they became flawed yes, Windu being a prime example of that, but they were to be compassionate. Windu is not. Plo Koon would be a more apt example of what a Jedi was supposed to be like, he didn’t let emotions rule him but never lost his compassion.

He's shown he's willing to kill those who aren't related to the death of his father and do horrible things for the sake of revenge. I have no sympathy for him and agree with how Mace handled the situation, What is he supposed to say "Oh ya I feel sympathy for you and understand your actions after you destroyed a Jedi Cruiser, murdered my men and hurt many innocents in your quest for revenge."
