One line they left out that I really wish they had kept from the unfinished version: Echo: “I’m beginning to feel like a trooper again, Rex!” Rex: “You never stopped being one, Echo!” I would’ve also really loved to see the scene of Tambor introducing the Decimator and it killing one of the natives. Must’ve been too dark for Disney I guess.

SuperClonezzz Productions Disney needs to grow up if they wanna Finish this season good. Because not only was this episode only 18 minutes long but it cut out that scene that cuts down the runtime and did not add any new scene. They had how many years to work on this show they could have at least done more then 12 episodes and made them longer. But in terms of being “too dark” Disney has to realize that this IS NOT A KIDS SHOW stop cutting out all the dark parts or inappropriate because that is one of the aspects that made the show amazing in the first place it really makes me mad

Cutting the demonstration of the Decimator kinda makes it... totally fucking pointless in the episode lol. I mean in this version all it ever does is slowly cut through some doors the droids could probably have blown down faster, and then fails to kill anybody. Yeah, we can still pretty much infer what it does and why it's dangerous from the name "Organic Decimator", but without ever actually seeing it in action, it's just kinda... there.

Knowing there was a full season 6, 7, and 8 originally planned, I'll just never feel satisfied if I don't get to see every one of those episodes EXACTLY as they were meant to be. Even the ones that have been told in books or comics already, I just want the entire show to be done the way it would have been done if it was never cancelled to begin with.

I'm A little disappointed the episode removed 2-3 minutes of screentime and removed the scene of Anakin trying to bargain Wat Tambor, with Tambor explaining the purpose of the Organic Decimator while having a Poletec getting disintegrated in the process, just to show how ruthless the Techno Union and Tambor are as well as providing suspense knowing the danger the Bad Batch were in of being decimated. Plus, this episode was rushed compared to the former two episodes and even Echo had an uneasy look with the ominous music playing at the end of the episode compared to the original reel's ending. I'm still looking forward to next week's final Bad Batch episode.

Honestly I think they removed that scene because there’s no reason for the Poletec scout to be in the room when the decimator goes off. They agree to lead the republic forces to the city, then they’re on their own. The poletecs don’t want to be involved in this war.

This was shown when Anakin was buying time for the others to unplug Echo. Wat Tamboa demonstrated the Decimator on a native to intimidate Anakin. Anakin told him that their "neutrality" was a joke when negotiations didn't work

Just take a minute to appreciate how brilliant that is; whether it's the droid Army learning Clone strategies using and countering "analytics" here in this new (finished,) version, or an "algorithm," (in the original unfinished episode arc,) it's still a stroke of brilliance to invent and put into use a Squad of Clones who notoriously _don't_ follow any preset strategies or tactics whatsoever, in an effort to infiltrate on a mission to deprive the CIS forces from being able to gain such an advantage. The Bad Batch is the perfect answer to predictability, because they're genetically enhanced to be unpredictable. (Not to mention the Techno Union abducting, altering, and "plugging in" one of the original Clones who helped Rex invent the Grand Army of the Republic's strategies and tactics, who effectively helped write the book, so they could eventually achieve that advantage in the first place. If _any_ Galactic Military was likely to employ such measures, it would undoubtedly be one made up of Droids.) The levels of complexity are impressive, to say the least. If that's not intelligent story telling, I don't know _what_ is. ✌

In the story reels they had a scene where Tambor explained the Organic Decimator to Anakin and demonstrated on one of the Poletecs. The energy tentacles scan for organic life and when one has found it, the others hone in and vaporize it. Great weapon for a droid army lol

I don't see any version of events where the natives should be happy about what just happened. They didn't want to be dragged into a war, but they were. As a result, like half of them died. Why are they celebrating and being all buddy buddy with the clones?

True, but there's way too many at the end alive compared to how many they had in all so I'm assuming most of those who were fired upon from the tri-droids were just knocked unconscious. If that's true then they only lost a handful. In the reels they were being captured and killed by the Separatists as test subjects, so it would have helped their role in the plot a little bit. Overall, they repelled those new models of droids well. If everything I said is true, then they must have realized that they could hold their own with relatively few casualties against an attacking force. Regardless, if any more tri-droids are sent to the village then they're gonna become extinct. I think this was overlooked in the script, which is unfortunate for the Poletec.

@Jeebus23 That's not a very good answer, and you might know that. Everyone says Disney, and I'm not going to lie that's a very possible answer. The scene was a tad dark, and overall if it wasn't directly related to the other scenes as much then that was why it was removed. Still, it would have given another motive for the Poletec to fight.
