@@chaos_kid-_-9147 Definitely. Sidious vs. Maul and Savage was a better fight and had more emotional weight. Savage dying was one of the only times I cried during TCW. Despite killing a bunch of people, Savage is such a tragic character because he was constantly tossed around by his superiors (the Nightsisters, Dooku, Maul) for three seasons. His last words to Maul (who treated him like a subordinate more than a brother) were heartbreaking ;(

sean bowman Don’t you mean Boba Fett? If so that wasn’t him, it is stated in the Attack of The clones movie for Star Wars, Boba was an unaltered clone, which does make him not truly Mandalorian. But then again, Mandalorian isn’t a race, or a species, it’s more of clans and such, so in a way, yes Boba Fett is a mandalorian.

@Crusty783 Rey and Kylo's fights are so great for me because there is almost no trace of any of the 7 Saber forms in her movements. It's like the directors hyper-focused on showing her lack of formal training, which I think blends perfectly into the story attempting to be told, the evolution of the Jedi legend beyond the knights of old and into the heroes that can shape change. Sequel trilogy is super far from perfect, but I thought the saber duels worked fine for me.

@@sonicrulez987 Well no. The fight scene in Snoke's throne room was terrible. A guy spinning pointlesly and misses Rey extra. A blade just disappearing from one of the guards and the list goes on. Nick Gillard was a genius in the prequel trilogy as far as giving each Jedi or Sith a style, and making the choreography tell a story. When the brought Hayden Christensen in on one of the Star Wars games to talk about choreography, he still had all the muscle memory from the films and could tell the designers exactly how Anakin fought. Watching this video, it's very clear that Ray has a very particular style as Maul... and it is AWESOME! It's looks very different from the other Maul fights in the best possible way! Kudos to this team for going the extra mile to bring in Ray and get the full Darth Maul experience on camera!

1:04 This line really struck me and it took me a solid day after watching the end of Clone wars to understand why. Maul is obsessed with revenge. Specifically, he wants Obi Wan to suffer much like he had done for over a decade. However, Maul understood something larger was at play. He hadn't been in the loop for years so he didn't understand the details, but he knew something was coming. Maul had seen that Obi wan was not a blind follower of the Jedi council's decisions as Maul had seen through his actions in the Clone Wars. Originally, Maul had probably wanted Anakin to overthrow Sidious. Then he had learnt the truth and decided to draw out Obi wan. He probably figured Obi wan would see past his relationship with Anakin enough because he was still enough of a stickler for the Jedi code to defend against the Sith or the mere threat of the Sith. Instead, who arrives? Ashoka. Former Padawan of Anakin, she brings Maul's plan crumbling down because she has been absent too long to see Anakin's decay and the threat to Padme, and she has enough faith in Anakin not to do what Maul thinks must be done. So they fight.
