DON"T GO FASTER. Finish Rebels in a comfortable timing for you. Then proceed to Mandalorian S2. Don't feel pressure to watch all the stuff that is later in the timeline just because it's current. I love your channels original approach of timeline order watching. To me it makes your channel special and unique. I hope you don't lose that spirit just to catch up with everybody else. I say don't make it a priority to catch up with everybody else, just prioritize watching everything in timeline order as much as possible on your timing.

Mando's knife vibrates so it works differently than a normal knife. I'm not sure how it actually works but obviously it was enough to kill the mudhorn beast with one stab.

Vibroblades kind of "buzz" and vibrate extremely quickly which enables them to easily cut most things. Think of a futuristic electric carving knife (for food) but much, much faster. Watching Rebels will give you a lot of backstory and details that aren't explained in The Mandalorian but, in my opinion, watching it isn't necessary to enjoy Mando. But if you want as much lore as possible -- and have the time -- absolutely watch it. I'm an OG Star Wars fan (saw the original in a theater when it was first released) and, despite having never watched Rebels (yet), I've totally enjoyed every second of The Mandalorian.

For what it's worth I've seen almost no animated SW content (less than 5 eps of clone wars and maybe 2 eps of bad batch, just enough to know they're not for me) and have watched ALL of Mandalorian w/o getting lost or feeling deprived. Having said that if you want to watch Rebels b4 Mandalorian season 2 you should feel entirely comfortable in that decision. Am I the only one to get Adam West Batman vibes when Mando was scaling the side of the Sandcrawler? I was just waiting for a Jawa to pop out of a hatch and say "Batman!?" As far as the "EGG" chant; spend some time around young guy culture and you'll realize anything can be a chant if it's silly, reckless or impulsive enough...

That is NOT enough to know they aren't for you. The quality of animated Star Wars is unbalanced and the shows. Bad batch is overall somewhat hit-and-miss, and clone wars get exponentially better over the course of the series.

I find Baby Yoda's species is very interesting. It's 50 and could get as old as Yoda and maybe even a lot older (maybe)? At 50, what is it's comprehension level or can it understand everything that is said to it? People freaking out about spoilers are cringe tbh. Like, you already know the announcements for shows including that Boba Fett has a show in the Mando timeline...which in and of itself is a huge spoiler for S2. When you get to S2E5 you will roll your eyes cuz they've already announced the next show, so you've been 'spoiled' already. I just mean do what's best for your schedule. Enjoying the reacts! And Rebels is a good show so worth watching regardless!

Emme if you must continue into season 2 of the mandalorian then you can get through episode 2 in the second season without spoilers for rebels. S2E3 is where your spoilers would occur, so at the rate you watch the Mandalorian that builds in two extra weeks for you if you should have something come up that slows down rebels for you. Honestly I think once you hit the conclusion to season 2 of rebels you will probably power through from how I read your personality.

Baby Yoda is about Anakin's age.. Approximately 50 years old at the time this show takes place... Don't forget how old Yoda lived to be... Be prepared to learn about the child at a very slow pace... Long wait before they even reveal his actual name...

the species age a bit slower than x0.1 human speed, yoda passing at a human 90 (or a bit earlier) is very fitting and grogu would be like a 3/4 year old, he can walk and think decently well
