Barrett captured my feelings perfectly. This is my absolute favorite piece of Star Wars content ever created because I finally got to see Boba Fett realized as being as cool as I had always built him up to be in my mind. Boba/Jango's armor in Legends is made of Durasteel not Beskar. However this has never been mentioned in Canon and they did heavily imply it is Beskar in this episode. This would raise the question of how did his helmet get that dent if it is beskar.

I was looking for someone to point this out as i rewatched the og trilogy and noticed that. Also noticed the nod in the previous episode where Mando tethers Ashoka and Bobba did that to Luke. I think the fact that they are merging the two sides of the force abilities is hinting at a grey jedi reveal or at least a character like Cal coming in.

For me the Episode was near perfect it had great Action, moments that made you feel like a kid again (Boba ship coming in and the Death Troopers dropping in), some funny lines, the bitter sweet moment when Mando wants to be with the Child but wants him to become a Jedi even if it means they must part ways and the end had some dark stuff. Feels like the Empire Strikes Back Episode where the hero's didn't win and I love it. This is before we get Boba showing why he was a feared Bounty Hunter and the lore of his armor from his father, which makes me now want a Jango Video Game as well.

HBO Max is gotten through Crave TV in Canada. For Hulu it would make more sense to expand it outside of America before they merge it with Disney+ since that would be a easy way to expand its user base.

I feel like you haven’t mentioned Cal Kestes coming to find Grogu. The whole point of Fallen Order was to protect the list of force sensitive children from the Empire. It would make sense for him to come to the rescue. Plus Cameron Monaghan is and established on-screen actor.

If they keep with the timeline I think they'd have him be about 40 years older. I dont think they'd use Cameron as him unless they do a flashback, which would be cool, but in terms of the time thats past, Cal would be in his 40s. I am not a fan of aging younger actors as it never works, They could however use Damien Lewis, he'd be perfect.

I think you guys are wrong about Disney Plus. Mulan failed. If that had been a success they would have ABSOLUTELY charged for Soul. Are you kidding me? But just think about it for second. Disney Plus has amassed 73 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS with essentially just the Mandalorian as their premium content offering. Could you imagine what would happen if they started putting MCU and Star Wars movies alongside the shows?

I was right about Ahsoka hunting Thrawn, I was right about Boba in Chapter 5, I have been right about the Death Watch and other things: here's a new prediction Moff Gideon is reporting to Thrawn, it has little if nothing to do with Palpatine - thats a red herring, Ezra will appear, Luke will also appear, Hondo will show up at some point. In regards to Ezra age - Rahul is on the older side but it could still work. He was about 17/18 when Rebels ended. Its been roughly 6 years since then - I think we are still pre Battle of Jakku - so he should be about 23-25.

You have to remember that it’s actually been almost 10 years since we’ve seen Ezra. He disappeared before ANH, and Ahsoka and Sabine start looking for him roughly soon after RotJ. And this show roughly takes place 5-6 years after RotJ so Ezra would be 9-10 years older than when we last saw him, so Rahul could do it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@BarrettCourtney You know what. You are completely right. I was being dumb because for whatever reason I was forgetting The Mandalorian takes place five years after RoTJ. I got all my dates confused. That is my bad. So yes Ezra would be in his late 20's, maybe 28-30 and Rahul could absolutely pull it off. I love Rahul and would love to see him in the role. My partner also suggested Avan Jogia (yes from Victorious and I could see it.) But I was searching around yesterday and found a interview with Tiya Sircar which was super recent in which she said how much she and Taylor Grey would love to reprise their roles and that they have made it clear to Dave Filoni. While Tiya makes way more sense as Sabine live-action Taylor is a harder sell. Anyways, I just finished a Rebels Rewatch over the weekend and that show rules.

Regarding HBO Max not available in Canada. So far, the only way to legally stream HBO content is through Crave, which is C$9.99 per month but you have to add the HBO add-on, which is another C$9.99. Crave will NOT get most of HBO Max's content. Crave's streaming quality sucks ass. When watching Westworld, the max resolution the app/website gave me was 720p and even with that low resolution, the app/site kept buffering. If VPNs won't work for HBO Max, I think a lot of Canadians will pirate those movies.

Just a quick note, Isaac's casting still doesn't mean the film will ever get made. A lot of times, a project that's spent so long "in development" and is having trouble getting the official green-light from the studio, casting isn't necessarily an indication of forward momentum, it's a move to get the studio more interested. High profile actors will often attach themselves to projects to get them moving when they've stalled out. I'm not saying that's entirely the case here, but with how long Vogt-Roberts has been banging the drum on this project, it certainly seems like that's what is happening here. I have no notes on The Mandolorian, it was perfection. The further we get into the series, the more it becomes crystal clear that even though Favreau is the big "Name" on it, this is 100000000% Filoni's show, through and through...and I wouldn't have it any other way.

It's LGs and PS5s fault for not making their "smart" tv and PS5s UI compatible. It works on my series X and every android thing I own ( I don't have apple devices) so you bought the OLED but can't afford the chrome cast?

I definitely feel the hill top scene was reminiscent of spy kids 2 but I thought Rodriguez did a good job. The vfx were good, the only thing that I noticed were the stormtrooper helmets looking a little soft, though seeing the class colours and the voice overs really brought back the og trilogy vibes. Though now you say bottom two I’m curious as to which of the other episodes you feel was lower tier?

This episode of the Mandalorian was probably the most fan-filmy shit I've seen from this show so far. The shots of Boba fighting were terrible, there's a radio tower in the background of a shot they missed, and a shot of Mando "shooting" his blaster with nothing coming out that they missed in post. It's the worst episode of the season for me.
