*This is just a theory, but don't read if you think theories are spoilers* So, I heard someone float a theory - really just in passing - about a year ago about C-3PO. They surmised that it would be an interesting twist if he had been carrying a secret all this time, having actually been built by Anakin. If you noticed in the last trailer, there's a shot of him from the same scene as this one, but he has red eyes. My thought is that the little creature working on the back of C-3PO's head is accessing data implanted either by Anakin, or even maybe then Empire during one of the many times he's been in their presence. Given the way he says "goodbye" in this trailer, I bet accessing the info will disable him permanently.

I know trailers are shown out of order and are designed to get us excited, but I think the last shot of Rey with the Luke and Leia voiceover will have Jedi Ghost versions of Luke and Leia coming to aid Rey in her time of need, similar to how Lucas was going to have Obi-wan and Yoda help Luke at the end of RotJ. The Emperor, to me, looked to be on a floating thrown, something like Thanos' chair--Rey was looking up.

A Jedi can't just become a force ghost. It's a trained thing. Qui-Gonn was the first and he taught Obi-Wan while he was in exile on Tatooine. Not sure Leia would have the training to become a force ghost as discussed in the Vid.

There’s like 3 ships from Rebels, Republic ships, empire ships, separatists ships, old republic ships, rebel ships and resistance ships, the ship from the new show the mandalorian, legends ships, mon cala ships. Literally it’s the whole galaxy all eras and factions that palpatine screwed over coming together as one to take down palpatine and the first order. This is literally a Star Wars style avengers cross over which I’ve thought could happen for a few months because everything under Disney was leading to everyone coming together to fight palpatine and it’s actually happening! Also I wonder if Matt Smiths character could be thrawn?
