@jeff0117 i get you mate, but the average collector isn't a touch up expert, it's a premium line we're paying for when not so long ago even NPC characters like the clone wars mando had awesome damage and weathering, and if you ever want to sell the figure on it wouldn't be worth anything

Great review, Ive got both versions and both have the silver eyes, I agree, awesome character. Can't wait for Andor season 2 :)

Thank you for the review! A TVC 2-Pack that would be cool to see is this KX-series Security Droid mold and a Shoretrooper with the "MP" white stripe armor from Niamos from Season 1. The only new tooling that Hasbro would really need is a holster and pistol for the Shoretrooper and perhaps if they wanted to add rocker ankles to the almost decade old mold. "Imperial Security" or "Arrest on Niamos" could be a good name for it.

I went to Walmart a few days ago, and got k2-so and the jet trooper freshly arrived...on clearance! Same thing at another Walmart not long ago for Mae and Osha!

This is a great example of where they should have used the "A" suffix and allocated this one as VC170A. I do, however appreciate that 170 x 2 = 340. Cheers, BB.

@Bossk I thought mine did not have painted eyes, but looking at it on my shelf this morning, i see the light is reflecting off the eyes so brightly that it looks like it has an LED in his head! So i'm assuming it is a different type of paint from the first release. I like it!

Great review as always BB, however i rarely disagree with you about Star Wars on any subject but i have to say, not impressed at all with the Skeleton Crew so far, not near as bad as Acolyte. I am giving it a chance and continuing to watch in the hopes it gets better 🤞

Looking at the Star Action Figures product listing for this K2S0 it shows the figure with painted eyes. I'm still waiting as this figure was a preorder at SAF. Regarding Skeleton Crew, i'm looking fowards to the release of all the supporting cast figures from the show. As a series i'm really enjoying this series.

Hi BB , have you heard that Luke Kaye ( Luke Skywalker) from Swindon with the Guinness book of records largest Star wars collection is selling some of it at auction in January?? Might be some good pick ups there and worth a look??

Hi Tim! Am I crazy, or are the eyes on the new Andor version actually more accurate to the film (meaning Rogue One)? K2's eyes really do not light up like C-3PO's. They're just metal discs.I've always found that I'm surprised by how sort of not-contrast-y his eyes are when I go back and watch the film. It's like I almost expect them to be lit up, and they're not. Could this be Hasbro's attempt to make a slight improvement to the paint apps to make them more accurate?

depends which scene, sometimes there are brighter than others, one image shows him with lit up eyes but then a pupil in the centre.

Just another repack. Not good enough really. Truer words never spoken. Why are we paying full price for this? The excuse that we should buy repacks so they can spend more on new tooling is an insult. How stupid do Hasbro think we are? Andor season 2 is a 2025 show so this should have ben released next year. A sure fire contender for a top 10 worst releases of 2024. It's a good topic for a video.
