Considering Sexplained average view numbers and the sub number then it's a fair assumption that a lot of the subs are dead accounts and/or bots. So losing 10k is probably part of the 100k-200k active they have. So - my guess - is that they've lost 5%-10% of their active audience ... so far. That's some backfire. Though, those two are all about the money so they'll continue to the bitter end.

I bailed on SWE when their channel morphed into a Disney billboard. Back during *The Last Jedi* drama, the guy actually picked a fight with me in the comments over some trivial Star Wars lore-think Canon vs. Legends. Had a similar run-in with MetaNerdz; dare to differ in opinion, and you're in for a lecture. I never went after them personally, just shared my thoughts with fellow fans. But after he went off on me, I hit that unsubscribe button faster than Han shot Greedo. And let me tell you, shaking off his video recommendations on KZbin was like trying to escape a tractor beam.

Lumping Theory in with all those other channels is the worst thing they could have done.
