Every time I listen to an interview with James McAvoy I realize more and more how thoroughly intelligent he is. When he talks about his craft he communicates his ideas and views so clearly and deeply. He could teach the craft. But I would prefer he just continue to act so I can see and hear him.

Sharon Lefkowitz my thoughts exactly. His insight makes him a very exceptional role crafter. He's incredible to listen to.

James McAvoy is one of the best actors of our time. He's a chameleon. Its a a joy to watch him bring these characters to life on screen. Great interview!

Definitely a movie that will take you on a roller coaster. Laughing, shock, empathy, just a roller coaster. James did an amazing job!

I really like the questions posted here. And Jon is so wonderfully articulate. James is too, in his own stream-of-consciousness-but-still-manage-to-stay-well-within-the-vicinity-of-the-question-asked way. They make such great interviewees.

I don't know if you've seen it yet after all this time my friend, but if you haven't,it is worthy. Filthy and worthy. Mcavoy is a craftsman like no other. You will hate yourself for loving him in this. 😉

5:17 Both the writing but specially Mcavoy in the role did this. You wanted to punch, hug,go to jail(and town..😋),and get drunk with Bruce at the same time.

I liked Bruce Roberson from the start to the end of the movie. And I did feel sympathy for him and was rooting for him to get that promotion. In his situation he could either self-destruct alone and depressed or with a bang like he did, I'd prefer the latter any day.

The scenes they mention (10:00-12:40) are indeed the ones who shine in the story and are mind engraving thanks to Mcavoys' genius craftsmanship...
