The union told those Amazon workers, “listen guys, we’re a business too and the strike pay is starting to look awfully thin” 😂 cmon now, strike didn’t even last for a week, did it?
@DY-Hak18 сағат бұрын
No point in striking if Amazon continues to ignore them. It's 1% of their workforce!

Those Amazon workers aren’t actual employees they’re contract workers so they were striking for no reason and Amazon executives were laughing about it. I thought it was funny too.

Starbucks at $18 an hour plus benefits which equals $30. I didn't make that as a 911 dispatcher....so, piss off.

If you hate your job, Just quit lol Worked for many of jobs I hate doing and seen so many strikes. I wasn’t part of it, I was on the floor working to make money. The strike really pushes us back making us do more overtime than usual due to being shorthanded. Seen so many people go on strike against the company and always fail. Thank god I left that type of work environment, it was just to make enough money to feed my family. Bills were of course late, but I kept pushing. Having a strike won’t do shit to big companies like Amazon and Starbucks lol
@MH-vb4ug2 сағат бұрын
@@abulletforrem exactly. There is more than just Starbucks or Amazon as a place to work. Costco, Panda Express, etc. They pay well. For higher pay you can advance your way up the latter. Career is your own. My employer told me exactly that when employees complained on pay.
@abulletforrem2 сағат бұрын
@MH-vb4ug I used to work for Costco. It was probably one of the better warehouse jobs I’ve worked at. Decent amount of overtime, better work and life balance and The pay was enough to get by and the benefits were great. I quit due to working for the trades and I will not look back.

There is no reason why a Starbucks barista needs to be unionized. However, I do think that Amazon workers need to be unionized due to high risk of injury on the job.

It’s all fun and games when you want to go on strike and have that few minutes of fame. Then when them bills are due, back to work they go. That 2 weeks vacation is over lol

I hope they all get fired!!! go and get a better job or really work for it. if they get a raise we should all get big raises
@Stellar2122 сағат бұрын
I mean yeah, all wages should go up. ALL. So, this doesn't mean you get to be bitter about baristas getting a better wage. You do realize this is a problem for everyone?? Not just minimum wage workers. Wages are not catching up with the high prices we are faced with. People like you are miserable. Be mad at the greedy cooperations, not the workers. Gosh, what is wrong with you???
