If you look closely at the minimap at 4:42 you can see that cure killed the burrowed creep tumour by attacking the reaper with the hellions.

I think you're right. Scarlett and Cure are both looking as strong as we've ever seen them. I'm looking forward to seeing more of their games. ZvT is such a good contest, and these are two of the greatest players around. Thanks for sharing!

50:02 - More reasons why Scarlett is my fave player. I've always seen Ultras as just big Zerglings. They kind of are like the T3 version of Lings. In early game a couple of Lings will do nothing but poke. But, get a wall of them and they're tough to counter until mid game units come up. Three Ultras are nothing but meat while a WALL of Ultras has some crazy staying power. :)

Thats true, though i think cure could have dealt with the ultras just fine with his army comp. What broke his back were the broods, since he had no way of dealing with them..

@@Daniel-rd6st if Scarlett had been able to commit with all 12 of those Ultras she was cooking up, there's not a lot that Cure could've done. But yeah, Ultras definitely need some kinda backup. Just Lings or just Ultras is always gonna be failsauce. :)

Cure seems to always get the upper hand in engagements. But Scarlet seemes to rely on Zerg's ability to mass produce quickly, so trades don't need to be very efficient if you can grind your enemy down in long matches. This is where i think someone like Serral just comes in to dominatr the engagements as well and win most matches consistently

this just in: if terrans don't transition to late-game tech, then they lose to zerg in the late-game. it's pleasant to see lurkers and ultras and broods actually doing something useful instead of just being snipe-fodder

Scarlett making all the right moves in that third game. Crazy creep spread to counter harassment, dedicated units to hunt the backbone of the Terran army, the medivacs, and that decimating push with the ultras. Impressive indeed.

Cloaking upgrade isn't a waste as it forces out overseers as spores alone shoupdn't be enough to actually kill the banshees just shoo them away.

overseer is just 50/50, cloak is 200/200 so idk if this is such a big deal, but maybe it allows for some potential gap-making plays

The real reason she won was because she kept destroying the supply depots. It might have been easier to destroy the production it would have taken longer and cure might have produced enough Vikings. When he could have made more he was stuffed from lack of supply, and I think it was that and the transition as a whole won her that last game

final game, why didn't cure transit to late game units or have more composition? they are both top players. they are capable of controlling a variety of units. Being able to counter every unit the enemy has, always wins the game. but first you need the variety.

If I was in charge of balancing SC2 i'd make it so that Marines can't shoot behind more than 3 rows of unit, like no vision. They're just too fucking good its dumb.. if a marine can shoot through his teammates then zergling should have no collision and be able to run through a pack of marine and attack from the middle. Use the same fucking dumb logic I guess.
