I already posted this video an hour ago, but had to reupload it because it was on 360p. I think I'm going back to uploading in 1080p60 rather than 4k60, just because KZbin's processing isn't very reliable yet for long 4k videos. The Serral versus Neeb game from earlier this week stuck at 360p for the first ~15 hours which is just too much.

@@PretentiousZoan usually to force a tech switch is the justification that I've seen the most. Build Ultras to force high powered anti armored stuff, then once the ultras die, go mass zerglings to overwhelm.

Interestingly, in game development, the set of actions you can literally do (run, jump,, shoot, collect money, make units, etc) is called a "tree nugget" because it's the little nugget that tree of gameplay grows from.

I looked up the "stalemate" requirements. The total wait is 4 minutes and 18 seconds. It used to be a total of 3 minutes for WOL and HOTS, but they changed it for LOTV. // A stalemate occurs when all players are unable to complete any of the following actions: - Generate income - Produce a unit - Construct a building (excluding Creep Tumor, Auto-Turret & Point Defense Drone) - Research an upgrade - Destroy an enemy building After 129 seconds, if no player has completed any of these actions, the game issues a final 129 seconds warning. If these final 129 seconds elapse without a player completing any of these actions, the game ends in a draw for all remaining players. If a player completes any of these actions, the timer resets and play continues normally.

11:03 Lambo was counting if he had more lings than Bly. He had the chance to chase Bly's lings, and if he had more, he would eventually have killed them. Bly couldn't counterattack then and also the bane would help in a chokepoint. It turned out that they were even and it was a draw.

Lambo could also force a fight if he attacked blys structures. But he would have needed a few more lings to cenrtainly win both defensively and offensively with split armies.

I have experienced a draw, a Zerg was wrecking my face but I kept giving him the runaround with Cyclones killing his hatches and running him out of money. My flying command center was burning with just a few seconds to spare before the draw counter finished. I got VERY salty messages after that game...

It just comes down too ling bane micro most the time, you can't really go blind roaches because until that first wave eggs pops after the first set of injects low-key impossible too know if they're going to be a round of lings or drones. Just have an overlord or ling ready to scout which it is, and be ready to make your own ling bane, and or counter attack also, slipping a dozen lings or so out can be a god send as I find in zvz people doing these ling floods forget to leave stuff at home often. Throwing down evo chambers to temporarily wall in your nat is a good way to buy time also if your response is late.

i think it was against Raynor, but Serrals drone/ling micro is insane. i remember there was an attack of like 12 lings or something from raynor and serral surrounded it and killed it with 4 drones and 6 lings. It was one of the craziest plays ive ever seen.

I've had a draw once. It was a PvT and all that I had left was stalkers without any ability to produce air units and the Terran flew a building out of range on Eternal Empire after a base trade. Can send the replay eventually once I find it.

One of my first games ever was a draw. We were both terran and we both only had planetary fortresses left with a handful of marines and no scvs or orbitals. This was before the draw timer was added as well and neither of us left the game. I left it on overnight to see that the game ended after a few hours .

I drawed once with the draw detector. ZvT, base trade, I had the army but terran buildings flies... I tried to spread creep all across the map and kill every building with a single spore... Tried so hard man... Every time the draw detector appeared I killed a depot to earn some time for the spore hunt. There was no way...After 3 or 4 draw detector avoids, I run out of depots...

@@ianmoody6153 I didn't, it was a 3 Hatch Roach/Ravager/Ling timing attack. It was about 6:30 into the game. I erased the terran, but all my ravagers and drones got killed. Less than 50 minerals remaining. Queens died as well so I just had a couple of tumors aviable to spread the creep. It was such a pain of a game.

But I learned something new about starcraft, like there is a draw detector 😂😂 And I learned how honorless are Terran players, flying with a cc and 2 barracks to a different corner of the map each😂

Problem with blinding cloud against lurkers is that it doesn't stop them from attacking, it just reduces them to melee range. If you charge a bunch of melee units onto them, they're still going to attack like normal, and the splash damage will still go the same length.

u can put workers on stop command and units dont attack them on attack command, but if u put ur units on hold near the workers which are on stop command then they ll attack everything in their range, including the workers on stop command

The draw game would not have triggered a stalemate timer because both players in theory had enough units to destroy buildings, which is one of the stalemate conditions. You basically cannot build, attack, or defend yourself.

Time mainly, bly had the building advantage, and lambo had chokepoint advantage. Unless bly throws he should technically win, but it would take 5+ minutes of in depth micro that neither player wants to do, aka: gg remake

so for that last game, seems like Bly could have gone for infestors instead of ultralisks, used the fungals in conjunction with lings to take out the hydra support, then his mutas would have free range over the remaining lurkers. I'm definitely no SC2 expert, and I know it's probably easier said than done, but those ultras just seem like such a waste of resources...

I encountered the stalemate detector when I cannon rushed a Zerg player and he just went afk because he was pissed. I ended up making only carriers and taking every single base. Afterwards I destroyed almost all of my buildings except my main and finished him.
