There may be spoilers but here are some explanations for the player’s behavior. I’m not sure for how long Bly had been streaming for, but for Beasty this was a WARMP UP game and one of the most interesting warm ups he’s had. When Beasty was pro I’m not sure if they ever faced off, but Beasty said from the start that Bly was definitely to take the cake. 2:12 yes, that was indeed an anti-Bly bunker. Beasty even said it was a matter of time before Bly all-ined him so it was guaranteed to get value. 6:50 Yes indeed. Beasty had sniffed out the spire and came really prepared much to Bly’s surprise. 11:49 Apparently all the Overlords were on purpose? Not sure how true it is but whatever the case, that follow up ravager push had Beasty thinking he was dead as well. I think he was a bit confused as to where all his opponent’s minerals went... 41:23 Wait, does he not have anti air? He’s got nothing and he’s sure to be mined out at this point.

Bly can literally use the overload block ability which is to place all your overlords over the battlefield, to block beasty from seeing and controlling their units and kill them.

Guys. I've figured out Bly's ultimate strategy. Cloud the sky with overlords so that it becomes impossible to micro troops on the ground, and then rush everything with banelings and roaches!

When you look at the resources lost chart at 35:44 you also have to keep in mind, that Bly spend tons of minerals for 40 overlords, which are basically useless at this point. :D So the difference is even higher...

I'll agree it's a shame that Blizzard doesn't let ultimate units be ultimate in the late game. My attempted fix would be to give them more upgrades, so that rushing them early doesn't become the be-all and end-all of SC2 strategy, but by the late game there's been time to buy those upgrades and really bring units like Ultralisks, Battlecruisers, and Carriers into their own. For ultras, I think it'd be interesting to give them an upgrade that allows a crawler to root into one, perhaps at the cost of a bit of speed while carrying that much extra weight. Maybe broodlords could have a dropperlord upgrade that gives them two units of 'bunker space', permitting a queen or hydra to perch on top of one and fire out? I wouldn't be adverse to seeing transports with 'door gunner' upgrades that allow 2 spaces of unit to shoot from the transport.

Good day Lowko, this is something that jus pop at the back of my head. You know those baneling drops and the sneak attack people tend to drop in Terran mineral line? What if, they have bunker there and when the enemy decides to drop by, SCV can get into the bunker/command center and thus they have less risk of dying as they have more option to find cover/escape the bomb? Running is a go to most of the time when enemy pushes in and you dont got troop in position to defend. but for those drops in the main base and natural or maybe places where drops are more common than getting pushed by main force, having a 3-4bunker close by for SCV to go into seems like a good idea. Even mutualisk will have to destroy building just to get 4 scv, instead of many scv at once. buys time for troops to come defend too if they decided to stay.

Then again, I also feel like it sort of plays into the zerg theme of being able to grow very quickly but relying more on quantity than quality. Tit for tat zerg units don't trade evenly with their counterparts, but zerg are able to grow faster and get those units out earlier and in larger numbers than the other races. Also I think in this particular game you had Bly investing so heavily in ravagers he didn't have enough roaches to tank for them. Consequently he lost ravagers at a higher rate than he should have, and that contributed to the massive units lost disparity.
