StarCraft 2: FLORENCIO'S BIG BRAIN CHEESE!

Fun game of Master League StarCraft 2. In this Protoss versus Zerg we see Florencio face off with Protoss against Raptor as Zerg. He decides to take control of the game right away, by blocking the opponent from expanding towards the Natural expansion. The Zerg decides to take this as an opportunity to counter attack with Zerglings and Roaches and from there the game spirals into a very close match of unusual SC2.

florencio lured the roach to scout the top portion of the map so that his enemy would see that the area is clear before he build his nexus as you can see in the mini map 9:30 florencio stopped chasing the roach in the top so that the hidden prob would not be killed and notice it is a way of giving your enemy a false information strat

I mean seriously I play ladder so I know that cannon rush into void rays is basically the standard opener for bronze/silver players. Florencio is absolutely pathetic. That start up just wow. I mean Raptor should be attacking more but still. Haven't finished watching the video yet but if Florencio wins this game a little part of my soul will die with it.

LOL...Florencio is famous for cheese and all ins....he's a troll...in a less fast paced game (such as HOTS) Florencio can't win. Because he lacks real in game knowledge and skill..I don't know what your point is but I've been playing starcraft since you were a baby. I also study up on the pros/streamers, play Versus AI, co-op everything...bet it's more than you ever accomplished.

He does send out losses as well, it's just that there are only so many losses that are also interesting to watch. Often if he loses, it'll be a complete stomp, like if zerg was a couple seconds faster and killed the pylon before the void ray came out. The losses he sends are generally when the cheese works, but his opponent recovers and plays a good game.

My only complaint about Florencio is the fact that he only sends his wins to Lowko. Defending a Flo build and then immediately counterattacking for the win is glorious though :)

it would be Florencio cry. His strats work only on low level players who don't know how to play/counter and not know Florencio. It's fun and all, but don't be fooled. Almost always, when he plays any competent player, he looses.

florencio is just really really good at pulling early moves that slow down the plan of his opponent. Ive been watching these games and frequently if you go by the numbers his plans seem to come off as a loss, but they are actually great moves because they slow down the eco, expansion, and tech path of his opponent for those critical early minutes, and by the time they recover from that, they are stuck reacting to florencios moves rather than making moves of their own. Then his ability to hide those extra bases in semi random locations that dont get scouted very fast means his opponent is working on bad intel.

yeah this game really reminds me a lot of games I used to play against the AIs in SC1: Brood War...because a lot of times as zerg protoss would keep rushing your base over and over and eventually you are bleeding out units because you don't have time to get your economy going. Protoss gateway units were also much stronger in SC1 so it was much harder to defend as zerg.

The way those lings checked the natural and then a couple unmined bases makes me think Raptor did the ling scout, but forgot to even read the minimap for what he scouted. Like a sword with no edge, it looks the part but just doesn't cut it.
