i remember watching this live last night, and after the last GG i literally had trouble breathing, and had to lay down for a few minutes. adrenaline was coursing through my body. this is why we love Maru. fcking INCREDIBLE. wow. one of the best series ive ever seen. Factual correction: Proxy is not short for "proximity!" It is an English word on its own, which means: "Acting on the behalf of someone else." (for example, proxying your stock means letting someone make decisions for the company you own a piece of on your behalf). A proxy gateway is a gateway that projects the economic power of your base into your enemy's base, acting on its behalf. I don't blame Rotty for not knowing this, being not a native English speaker, but I was really hoping Maynard would know enough to correct him. Well, maybe one of the commentators will see this and say it correctly. These guys aren't the first professional commentators to make that mistake.

A lot of people pay attention the whether or not women and minorities are being included. I would go so far as to say that it actually is so significant as to render your comment a willfully ignorant denial of the success of liberal viewpoints in terms of constitutional matters, and therefore legal matters. Whether or not suzie was hired just because of her "gender and tits," as you so eloquently put it, is besides the point, because there are plenty of people who are being hired mostly because of their gender or race, and whether or not you think that is a good thing or a bad thing is also besides the point. it's definitely a phenomenon though.

A 1 Ghosts are considered late-game. Not many terrans want to go to late game vs protoss. It's terrifying. So, drop drop drop drop win ASAP or die trying. At least, that's my take on it.

Gotta admit that I have not been following SC2 as closely as usual over the last few months (only watching the major tourneys) but seriously, who the hell is this Maru guy? Sure, he got shredded by Parting, but taking out a solid pro like herO 3-1 is nothing to sneeze at and he was completely dominate against the zerg he has played so far. These players featured in this match and many others are definitely managed by different entities and ways, at this level it's almost unheard of to be completely independent from team or sponsorship. Their name also implies a lot, CJ Entus (Kr multi brand company), Jin Air (Kr Airline), SkT (S. Kr telecom), etc, which these companies sponsor team-community settings such as housing/travel and training regiments. Any pro esport player is training almost 8-10hrs + everyday plus management and coaching. Only person in SC2 I can think of who is very successful in earnings (400k + regular pay = 1mil+ usd?) and mostly consistent placings is MC and I believe he left mainstream teams and mostly manages himself.

the marauder ghost/viking rine medi vs colosi high temp battle is such a fucking joke. That battle is simple based on if the terran makes or doesn't make a mistake.
