As what ByuN was doing in this game is akin to a strategy I'm working on against Zerg, I think the issue with the creep spread in the first two games was because of the long early pressure (while not losing the units quickly) against Zerg. By forcing the Queens to stick to base defense and using energy for transfuses, the Zerg literally does not have the Queen count or energy generation (+APM and ability to split a Queen) to be able to effectively spread creep. Just food for thought as to the causality of certain things in game.

In my opinion there were interesting games in this GSL season. Remember game 2 of Maru-Parting, when Maru nuked his whole own army after turret turteling against skytoss? That was a great game. Even Maru laughed a lot about this.

i dont play this game, but i feel like 1 or 2 ravens would help, the detection would help with creep and lurkers without using energy that can be used on mules

the thing is that ravens can be abducted, whereas scans don't. So you don't want to be in a spot were you suddenly lost detection an are out of energy to scan the field. Usually you would see ravens a lot on tvt because the interference matrix, and sometimes on tvp, as taking out some key units make toss compositions useless
