such a clutch game for Serral. I thought that during that one year when he was pretty much undisputed that it was simply a time when he was at his peak and he is just basically on the way down when it comes to skill level, but damn, the skill he showed in this match in particular is just way better.

I feel like Serral’s been having the Saitama syndrome, as he became so overwhelmingly godly that he stopped caring all that much about being the Finnisher because he got kinda bored

It's an inevitable process hard to stay motivated after achieving the ultimate goals in your mind. Back in my youth I was all about CS. I played from beta 0.6 to the end of CSS era just before CSGO came out. I rose to the top of australia cs with my team our highlight being both undefeated on LAN and winning the national cevo-p league undefeated in 2008. After we achieved that I lost all motivation to continue and 'retired' from competitive gaming shortly after. I was 24 by then and starting my career. The pro gamers today are much more fortunate, there is a lot more money in the industry and income opportunities via streaming/sponsorships are far better than during my time.

These guys are so crazy! I always have a blast watching them play. Serral still has the unstoppable might of experience but Reynor's youthful exuberance is indeed quite threatening. I hope Reynor keeps playing against very strong opponents so he can get in a position where he's consistently overwhelmingly good instead of being "just" extremely good and then exceeding expectations when he gets pumped.

On most of the other Pro Players i think i can keep up with when im playing Starcraft 24/7 the next 5 Years but not here. They are so fast and confident pushing each other to its limits that i really feel they must be some sort of strategic Octopuss Monster created just to finger over 1000 Actions per Minute constantly. GG, i suppose.
