Not broken in the same way, it was the eon of strife was such a bloody and brutal conflict that it basically thrown the Protoss almost to their version of the stone age.... and basically destroyed the first Protos empire. It similar to Star Wars and the now Legends universe where there was such a devastating period of war that from a technological level similar to what i seen in the prequels they went to an incredibly downgraded level at the end of the New Sith Wars.

@@Ower8x I'd argue it was more like 40k on a much smaller scale. Many people I've talked to say the best way to think about/classify the 40k setting is as "post-apocolypse in an interstellar empire". I think this fits pretty well, and it helps you imagine how bloody the Aeon of Strife was, likely similar to the Age of Strife in 40k, with the Khala being their version of the God-Emperor in that it gave them unity.

Lowko, I recommend the Anihilators for the next missions. While you might lose the tankiness of the Daelaam Immortal, you will gain the ability to shoot down enemy air units which will prove to be useful if you wanna go all ground units. I remember powering my way through the campaign with them.

I doubt that right in the next mission immortals will be built at all. Air units also aren't much pain, at least when you don't have your own air.

Rohana is amazing, she might succumb now and then to Amon, but she's constantly able to cast him out. She could have been the lynchpin between the Old Khala and the New Khala, post-Amon.

The thing is, Rohana isn't enduring for selfish reasons, she is enduring to save all of Protoss civilization. She is a living ark, preserving the Khala and all the millions (billions?) of Protoss minds within it...all their knowledge and experiences, art, science, culture, emotions & music...alive within her. In other words, by remaining connected to the Khala, she is preserving the Choir Mind itself...and to sacrifice that is simply unimaginable to her, it would be as terrible as the loss of the phyical Empire.

On StarCraft 1 u can fuse 2 dark Templars right after they get a mind control ability I always use that ability to mind control some neutral animals then scout enemy bases

Lowko that AA i mentioned previously are the shadow cannons on the annihilators. They do something like 200+ damage almost instantly to any target, and are easily spammable. A large group of them will basically shred anything in the game in seconds, including certain annoying void based structures.

Just a heads up Lowko, next mission is a hold-out mission where you just defend against the zerg as long as possible. Would be a good idea to pick up the reduce construction time + chrono surge from the solar core for the macro bonuses.

Two Shakuras's satellites can be seen on the Celestial Array. Not by themselves, but with those two orbit rings surrounding the planet. 2.1 cycles means that the full day on Shakuras passes in 2.1 full days on Earth, which means roughly 50 hours.

Talematros is the same city you destroyed in Brood War (Episode VI - Mission 07). Oh, if you pick Shakuras first, Artanis will say a different line when encountering a Void Thrasher, and you get that Orbital Strike cutscene.

Try annihilators lowko. 15 of em will clean everything up. That cannon ability is crazy, you can gun down anything in the air, should you face any flyers. Standard attack will clean the ground units. One unit for everything coming at you.

I personally prefer the warp in reinforcements. Chrono surge is good, but only if you actually have the resources to pump out lots of units. The reinforcements you get from the Spear of Adun only cost energy, they're free. So you get 2 melee and 2 ranged for no cost, freeing you to make a bigger army. It's also immensely helpful for reinforcing a base under attack. Just plop it down at your base and you have a defense.

I prefer warp in pylon so I can use solarite on other things, like the ability that turns your robotics bays and starports into warp bays and ports. Plop down a pylon and 500 void rays
