I know this is an older video, but if anyone sees this: Amon refers to the Overmind as the "Great Betrayer" (his host body is forged from the flesh of the Protoss on Aiur and the "essence", e.g the body of the Great Betrayer, e.g the Overmind), since despite it being his creation it actually turned on him and killed him with his Swarm. This is why he was stuck in the Void.

This is an official petition for Lowko to do the Age of Empires 2 campaign after finishing LotV (and Nova probably). Pros: Lowko is a macro player. AoE 2 is the ultimate macro RTS Everyone remembers AoE 2. Huge nostalgia factor. The campaigns are full of silly accents According to a study conducted by the UoMA, people who had just finished creating and/or watching an AoE 2 video on KZbin were considered to have 33% more sex appeal than people who had not. Zeratul fell into Depression after killing Raszagal and confronting Duran. He was "healed" by Dr. Ramsey and Zamara (a Protoss Preserver). It's within the books. The books also anwser a lot of questions like: 1. How did valerian learn about the Protoss, the Xel naga and most likly the Keystone? Thx to Dr. Ramsey and Zamara. Without the Books valerian seem to be a convinient plot device in Wings of Liberty, coming out of nowhere. 2. How did Zeratul find the ruins of the Xel Naga in WoL in the first place? 3. Where did the Tal'Darim come from? etc.

Believe it or not Starcraft is one of the most balanced games out there, They balance everything so heavily in starcraft that it takes half the fun away from multiplayer. Sadly the same cannot be said for WoW, not even close. They justify things in a different way, that there should be classes you counter and classes you're bad against. As a warrior pre-legion I can easily go toe-to-toe with death knights and kick the snot of pallies, but ultimately lose to both due to being unable to heal. Also die easily to hunters and warlocks because pets. My one easy kill class was a priest. Then in Legion even priests kill me, something that NEVER happened before. WoW is the game that seriously needs better balancing.

Since you seem to not understand basic logic: Terrans emerged on their own, they don't factor into the Xel'Naga's plans. So if the Xel'Naga hadn't existed the Terrans would have been alone (as far as we know) in the Star Craft universe.

Rikard Nilsson No... without the Xel'naga, something *else* would have emerged. There is more life in the universe than just those 3 races. The Terrans aren't even native to the Korprulu sector, so who knows how much exists. Without Amon, a race that's pure of form and essence would have naturally emerged, as it's *supposed* to be. Amon wanted to speed up the process, so he ascended the Zerg and Protoss, two races in the same sector, further speeding up the process. And note that Zerg and Protoss already existed without interference. Neither were created by Amon, just pumped with dark god juice to forcibly fit a prophecy. Terran, Zerg, and Protoss would have existed regardless of Amon. The latter would just be different. Not so advanced.

Spoiler for what can be inferred: Terrans are part of the cycle not the Protoss as the Protoss are artificial/corrupted by Amon. Its also why no natural Zerg/Protoss hybrids exist as they weren't meant to merge but natural Zerg/Terrans exist. This is also further elaborated by Dhaka being disgusted with the Protoss but obsessed with Terrans showing the original Zerg have no interest in Protoss and wants to evolve using Terran DNA effectively merging with them. There's also furthering that fact is that the Terrans are already merging their machines with Zerg bio-matter to get these like self healing metals which can be seen in wings of liberty and swann's commander in co-op.

So here's a little bit of clarification for the Xel'Naga. They get a physical body once the universe is born. They only go back to the Void when they are killed. This happened to all the Xel'Naga including Amon. This is why he "lives" in the Khala and needs the host body. I guess that Ulnar is somewhat part of the Void so the Xel'Naga killed there are permanently dead.

Valaquenta7 it was just the physical bodies that amon destroyed. You are right that when they die they go to the void. But as you will see in the epilogue, Amon has full control and corrupted the void in his image so only one xel naga remains in there. The rest are probably consumed or destroyed. Tldr they can return to the void but Amon controlled the void like he did the khala and so when the other xel naga returned to the void, Amon probably killed then anyway.

Nope they get a physical body once the purity of essence and the purity of form merge together (in this case the Zerg and the Protoss). Amon does not "live" in the Khala but in the Void, as the existence who created the Khala and with his power (he is sort of a god) he can manipulate it and through it control the protoss.

Hi Lowko Always use the purifiers they are the best. The adepts can shoot to air in campaign and in the solar core you will be able to choose deploy feinx to battlefield it's really good as well so don't forget to use it when you unlock it.

Adepts are useful against light enemies, Dragoons against armored, and Stalkers are pretty much down the center.

Adepts are worthless imo. They require too much microing, they're squishy and always dying. Stalkers with the purifier zealots are much better imo. If the Adepts functioned like they do in coop I would choose them every time, but stalkers just have so much more mobility and survivability with their shield regen, plus it's easy to micro them out of the way of your front line units.

Dragoons are better than Adepts, no need to be microing them, and they do a lot of damage, as for the stalkers, imo its a 50/50, it depends of the situation, and what enemys youre facing

The problem with dragoons is that they are slow and take up a ton of space. Unless you prepare your forces so that your front line units are in the front and don't attack move they limit your dps since they're constantly tripping over each other. They're great for defense but they just carry a lot of baggage for offense.

If you keep clicking Fenix, he tells you different stories about himself from the archives. The last one is about his battle with Predator who separated and killed his squad, but he ended up forcing Predator to blow itself up and survived the explosion. Though he calls it an unknown alien, it's definitely Predator by the description.

I really like how the Protoss are the purity of form and the Zerg are the purity of essence. Meanwhile, the Terrans are just there, playing with guns and stimpack, and still able to put up a fight with the 2 most powerful races of the universe.

When you reconfigure the solarite allotments, you can see the solar core in relation to the Spear of Adun when fiddling with the (I think it's the) second column powers. The Spear is about between 20 and 40 times larger than the solar core. And from the screen where you talk to Karax, I'd say that the core is maybe 20 to 40 meters in diameter. Therefore, the Spear of Adun is 400 to 1600 meters long.

Artanis is a such an amazing representation of a good leader. Unbreakable will, doubtlessness and self-sacrifice. A good leader can make the world a better place, be your salvation in the most dire situations and be the one that makes sure you're on the right path. The concept of The Infinite Cycle was introduced in the books. The whole thing gets pretty confusing in the way it plays out in the epilogue. One day I'd love to see a Starcraft art and lore book that clarifies what happens with the Xel'Naga and their cycle.

They come with drawbacks. They are considered light units, they shoot at the speed of a dragoon (although they do double damage to light). That being said, a column of adepts is easier to move around compared to dragoons. Also few units do bonus damage to light, but the same cannot be said about armored.

For the next mission, if you have orbital assimilators, you can kill your ally's gas and steal it. The extra gas will make the mission a lot easier. It has zero negative impact for your ally, as the AI has infinite resources.

I just realized: Xel'naga are pure of essence and form. Amon cant just forge his body from anything but the combination of the two. Also he interfered into the development of those races not only in a way that makes sure he will be able to forge his body. He also needed to wait for them to reach a certain point in their evolution to do that. And I guess the Terran are just pure happening of chance and evolution on some random planet (a.k.a Earth).
