Starcraft II: How to Play Zagara [With Creep Spread and Larva Inject]

I continue my commander tutorials with Zagara. She has a very quick ramp up, and hits hard and fast. Her army control is basic, but you can add mechanics such as larva injects and creep spread to allow you to reinforce more quickly.

If you need an idea on what challenges you might try: ive recently read an article on the Pokemon speedrunning forum, where someone did an RBA - essentially playing the entire game in reverse. Might be fun for any COOP mission, where you can finish the mission in reverse (From the top of my head, void trashing, RTK, CoA, MW, ME and MO can be played backwards, by either finishing later objectives first or clearing the map the other way around)

First I would say it is lucky to have swann in your team since zagara needs gas heavily. It is a bit challenging if you are short of gas. Second, I would just do 2 bases and use queens for extra lava, if you do it frequently you don't really need 3rd and 4th base. Third, I would always do 2 evolution chambers to speed up the upgrading.

so like to play as zagara i just have to mass spam units like hell? should i use aberrations too or like just zerglings and banelings?

Why float so much gas throughout the game? Wouldnt it have been better to get zerg and bane speed earlier and double evo?

Exactly. I would just do 2 evo chambers. And Zaga is gas hungry so it is a bit lucky for him to get Swann in the team.

How do you send drones to the extractor so quick and easy?

I right click them and press the hotkey for "return cargo" so they return the minerals first, and then go straight to the extractor.

Chris Kennedy The default hotkey is c, otherwise you can go to menu -> options -> hotkeys

Corruptors are very supply-dense, and I need more supply in anti-ground than I do for anti-air.

i have an idea how to play 1 base only all commanders including your ally (no expansion) all commanders normal missions + muta on brutal of course now that's an impossible challenge

You are not typing "Good luck, have fun" manually right? Is this some kind of trick or u are just that fast :)

He is probably using a program called AutoHotkeys. Whit that program you can whrite simple scripts who to whrite text when you press a desired key or combination of keys or you can whrite Complex scripts to do soo much more, and its a free program!

I use the "standard" profile, and the Banaling Nest upgrade hotkeys were definitely different. Normally, it spells 'C' 'A' 'R' :)
