serral keeps winning through economy. If you can stop him from going 5+ bases, he will struggle just like anyone else. Most of the games he wins, it's because he has 2+ more bases than his opponent late game, and more workers, and he can remax after a big engage at will.

yup that combination + tons of resources to remax 2nd army = auto win. terran and protoss has powerful units. but infestors just neural and turn their units against themselves. that's OP. not to mention the creep spread = vision of half the map. the overseers are basically pylons and supply depots that can be moved and did not take up additional army space. OP

92zergling when gg first game, could have at least countered and forced recall and bought time to use that 1200 gas. early gg imo. recall should also be unavailable until endgame. its silly you can make terrible blind decisions and just "recall SAFE", or triple its cast time early, double midgame and norm late game :P

as someone who has never played SC2 in MP, but love watching the tournaments, it really feels like Protoss are pretty underpowered these days. The whole golden armada type army justs gets sooo easily countered by terran EMPs, cheap Vikings, anti armor missiles from ravens etc, and zerg with those neural whatsits and fungals and sporecrawler spam as well

Question: how do they know if a player is defeated? Its like theyre cutting the game and i dont know what theyre looking at if its finished or not. Im new to starcraft tournament. I thought you win by destroying all structures but yeah that takes time.

Mashiro Shiina Yes, to win you need to destroy all of your enemy's buildings. The reason they type gg and surrender is because they are too far behind to win. For example if you lose your entire army and the enemy has max supply there's no way you'll win, and waiting for all of your buildings to get destroyed is time consuming and unnecesary.
