One of the triggers for this mission is Arcturus tells you not to harm the zerg after one of your Marines dies. It has to be a marine.

for the record, Kerrigan goes invincible the moment the "defeat the Protoss" objective is completed, even in the original game.

Would be really cool if they had a little bonus mission like the Zeratul mission in SC2 WoL where you as Kerrigan and the remaining forces hold out for as long as possible after being abandoned and then at the end when you've finally been overwhelmed cut to the cinematic of New Gettysburg where she "dies"

I have a huge concern about "nullifying the challenges" by going mass BCs in the final mission. Not mentioning attack waves which makes you want to take out Mengsk base as soon as you can, attacking Duke with pure BC fleet is pain because of goddamn lockdowns.

I used to put everyone in a dropship then liftoff all the buildings I can before I end this mission. In my headcanon, some of those guys are still alive somewhere in the universe.

it was at the end of this mission, Arcturus Mengsk realised he fucked up, after Kerrigan becomes the queen of blades. i bet mengsk wishes he saved kerrigan when she became infested. i wonder what his thoughts are after the brood war?

I also noticed that because Tassadar refused to incinerate Tarsonis, he sort of allows things to get set into motion from Kerrigan's corruption to the Zerg taking over Aiur. On the other hand! The Protoss always had the power to glass planets. So one would ask: why don't they do that all the time?

One of my new fav jay lines, maybe I should make a list? Hmm yeah jay really does not like reavers, maybe I should add them to my map :) 36:24 kerrigan is called Adjutant Mass recall is so good!

This mission should have been more difficult than it is in both og SC and Mass Recall. The Protoss should be launching attacks against the Zerg as well as your base. But Blizzard and the devs probably figured it would make the mission too difficult. Because you would have to intercept the Protoss before they could destroy a Zerg structure.

I never paid any attention to StarCraft. It’s actually really good. Solid writing & voice acting. Why is there ambient sound & music from Fallout New Vegas in that early segment? Did the mod author add those just for fun?

I need help i deleted all mass reccal folders becuse of 6.1 and now when i download everithing that is on the wesite and follow your guide it doesnt work. I cant find a dowload for the 6.1 cinematic mod. I have the cinematic luancher but not the mod and i think that is the problem. Can someone help me?

there is no full 6.1 cinematic mod, you have to download the 6.0 and then patch it to 6.1, all files are in there in the MR web site

Probably that, plus in his cut original intro earlier, he says the reason he stepped in to help The Boyz is because they fought so bravely and he admired that. Maybe that's the moment where his perspective started to change.

Original space platform tileset makes no sense with the plot. The battle transpired on surface, we have even saw it in Jim's nightmare-flashback cinematic in Wings of Liberty.

Too bad non-canon what-if missions are too time and resource consuming to make. In the original version I had more fun making an impenetrable defense against the Zerg so that even at the end when the Zerg supposedly was about to overrun the Terrans onscreen it was a completely different story.
