00:00 - 00:30 We are inside the Zerg Hive tunnel system, deep underground. Everything is dark and quiet. Larvas being produced, morphing into troops and new fresh sprawned Zergs are getting ready to march on the surface. Drones are busy with gathering and delivering recources. 00:30 - 01:37 We focus on a single Drone that suddenly feels someting is not right. Suddenly muffled gun artillery sounds are heard, the cavern is shaking and small rocks are falling from the ceiling. Drone is heading out to the surface to find out what's happening. When it is top side it sees how Siege Tanks shreading the Zerg base to pieces, the artillery sound is unbearably loud. One of Tank shots lands too close to Drone and knocks it out. 01:37 - 03:07 Drone is regaining consciousness. It sees the fight going on around him, Teran Marines vs Hydralysics, Goliaths vs Mutalisk. It plays dead to avoid being killed. 03:07 - 04:52 Finally battle shifts place and moves away. But Drone feels something is not right. It feels some presence, like if someone invisible sneaking around, some shadow. It follows the shadow, until it realises that it's Terran Ghost in cloak, and he is getting ready to launch a Nuclear strike on the Zerg Hive. Drone is trying to contact Overlord and warn his bretheren but dues to injuries its telepatic connection is disrupted for some reason. All it can do is run for its life - hopelessly, as the Nuke is already inboud. 04:53 - 05:07 The Nuke strikes, destroying Drone and the whole Zerg base while Ghost is successfully evacuated. Nothing remains but mushroom cloud and blast wave.

Hydralisk is not melee unit. Zerg units are cost effective and cheap and evolve due to their battle purpose, so why ranged unit has so fearsome claws in SC2? It means SC2 is a cartoon-like game for children. MOAR claws MOAR fearsome look, MOAR extended graphics. Zealots look like a clowns, not as a fearless soldiers, who fight against zerg hand-to-hand.

SC2 is fine only major issue was like a lot of games it was released early before it was really ready. The art and style is essentially the same as SC1 but the 3d engine graphics have a glossy element that some might describe as cartoonish compared to 2d/sprite/pixel games, SC is not alone in this phenomenon

After years of listening to the Halo soundtrack, I can't help but notice that the Flood soundtracks have bits that sound similar to this theme! Particularly 3:00 - 3:40 I know I have heard some of that in Halo when playing the flood levels. It's probably a source of inspiration that the Zerg would have for the Flood considering how comparable both are at the end of the day being galactic all consuming threats :P
